Married 18 years, separated the last 3 years and now filing California divorce papers. We have a house, stocks, retirement assets, and bank accounts. We both agree that the kids will live with mom, and agree on visitation schedule. Wife wants the house for herself & kids. But what she gets in the equity of the house is 160K more than all the other assets that I get (retirement, stocks, bank accounts). She says that I don't have to give her child support, as she already got those dollars with the house. But even after that, she has about 100K more in her bucket. She does not have the cash and can not get a loan to pay me, so we can be even. So, what are my choices ? Should I file the divorce papers and let the Judge tell us how to do the 50/50 split ? Pros and Cons ?

theres a guy in my neighbour house our families know each other well .. but me n this guy have never had a talk ... its been last 1 year that this person comes on his rooftop in the morning n stays there the whole day n keeps staring at me . frm his roof n room my whole house is visible..many of times he stares at me n smiles first i thaught its just that he has a crush on me but now i think its too much then just a crush n the thing is that even i like him . i also used to like him but none of us have ever talked with each other . i dont know how to tell him that i also love him . he is mad after me whenever he see's me he starts smileing n tries to get my attention but till now i have not had an eye contact with him but i can say that i like him n he likes me n 1 year has been a long time staring at each other so i wanna make this relationship so now u people suggest me what to do.....................

First of all,
A guy had asked me out like twice over the summer, and both times I said yes, but he stood me up. Well today, he came up to me and was like, "Somebody just threw this really big rock at me and it hit me in the ankle bone..." Well anyways, I leaned in to kiss him on the cheek, {I kiss everybody on the cheek, its a habit}, and he gave me the dirtiest look ever, and then pushed me away. What does that mean???

Secondly,
This too happened today. This guy I really liked came up to me and asked if I wanted to walk, I said yes, and we were walking and talking about sexual incounters we both have had. Well anyways, he leans in and kisses me. And there we stood, makeing out. Full on touching too! Well anyways, later I walked up to him to ask him a question, and he told me to save it for monday. Does that mean he still likes me??? Or does it mean he was using me, to give him an hj. What should I do???

I am in a bind here. My wife is visiting her family and while she's there she got into an argument with my father. It started out with good intentions but developed into heated arguments between my dad and brother on one side and my inlaws on the other.
I told my wife I think she should have/could have prevented all this from happening. Now she thinks I am taking sides with my family.
Even though they are overseas, I took immediate action as soon as I heard of this can called my inlaws to calm them down. I did the same of course with my father. I was hoping it would end at that and we'd just put it behind us and move on. BUT my wife thinks I am not doing her justice, biased to my family, biased against her, you name it!!!
What am I to do now? any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

We haven't been going out in a couple of months, before that we were together for almost 4 years. He just called me to tell me he'll be gone in a couple of months, and I fear I might loose my chance forever. What can I do? He says that he's too hurt to be friends and see me before he leaves, and he told me that he wouldn't be going to Iraq or anything, but I still love him. I saw him 2 weeks ago on his Bday, and he looked at me like he still loved me, and when I asked him about the look, he got in his car and left. I know that a part of him wants to be with me, but I can't figure out how to get him to admit it. I thought if I gave him the space he needs that he would realize what was going on, but now he'll be gone forever. We used to talk when we were dating about him in the service, and I told him I would be happily married on base with him, and he'd smile. I never thought he'd go, how do I get him to see that we can be together without hurting each other? I love him so much.

My husband told me that he's sorry but will never move out. He wants to stay with his parents forever so he can help them. I never stop him from being a good son. I rather he would him them all his money but only begging him to start our new family, our, daughter, him and I. I've been trying all my best to live with his family but the more i live with them the more depressed and stressed come to me. They control and involve in everything we do. Where's our privacy when his mom wouldn't let me close our bedroom's door during the day and his sis keeping staying in our room during the evening. We were fighting last night because his parents told him that he's stupid for following me but he's not. They want me to bring our 2 weeks daughter back on 6 hrs car trip just for them to celebrate her 1 month old. I was so mad and told he it's impossible, I put my daughter's health on top. I don't know what to do....?

I talked to my ex finally and he doesn’t want to get back with me, he told me there wasn’t any chance we’d get back together ever again, and he thought I understood it was just sex and he agrees we shouldn’t have sex anymore. I told him we couldn’t talk anymore either, and I am so sad and devastated. I really don’t know what to with myself right now. I am so hurt by him. I don’t want to say he lead me on but how could he move on so fast? Our relationship ended 2 weeks ago and he already says he’s back to normal and can date other people. To be honest I don’t know why he doesn’t love me and he says he doesn’t want to hurt my feelings. I guess it’s hard when im crying over the phone, but still I wish he’d be honest instead of beating around the bush. Why do I love him so much if he doesn’t love me in return? How can I allow myself these feelings when they are not returned? I don’t know what to do to move on and I feel I may never get over him. I might be able to finally function normally, but I’ll never get over him. He says he loved me at one time in our relationship but I think he’s lying. How could he and be fine now? He says his love for me was different. Why does he hurt me so bad? I told him we can’t talk anymore and he said ok that’s fine. He said I’m good in bed and I said maybe we can just be friends and talk occasionally but not sleep with each other, and he said no. Apparently he just wanted sex. He said if he wasn’t benefiting from hearing about me then why would he talk to me? Why is he such an asshole? I am so traumatized and I don’t know when I’ll trust again. We’ve broken up so many times and I’ve fallen into a deep depression many times, but right now I am beside myself with sadness. .I know its for real now and all I can see now is a future without him and it seems so depressing to know I’ll have to move on only because HE didn’t want ME. It wouldn’t be that way if he had just wanted me and not been so difficult. Who does he think he is anyway? He will never find another girl like me, he won’t get a girl as beautiful as me to love him this much. Why do you guys let a good thing go? *tears* * tears* *tears streaming down my cheek*.

My husband and I have been together for 12 yrs now. We both had a child when we met. Our children are only a few months apart in age. With our children going on 16 we have been discussing driving. He told one of our sons that he could not have a car until he acted more responsible. his grades are good but he has trouble shutting his mouth sometimes so I agreed to this thinking it would help him learn. But tonight he told our other child who is getting into mischief and making low grades he wants to buy him a car so he can start behaving. I was appalled at this because i had already told my ex that we wanted to wait on buying my son the car. I am not sure how to handle this.

I've heard this does happen but its not reported as much. The guy might be timid, weak, or doesn't believe in fighting. Maybe the wife is strong physically, or was abused herself and takes it out on her man. Maybe she's over weight and throws her weight around. Maybe she likes to dominate a man. Should a man have to put up with an abusive woman? Does he wake up and realize its time to act, and acts like "Dirty Harry" asking her if she feels lucky????

I did not raise my daughter because I got divorced when she was 2. My ex-husband and his family got custody and then shut me out. I saw her maybe 3 times a year. I lived with guilt while she was growing up. Suddenly one day she appears at my door begging to stay so, of course I said yes. While she was here she got arrested. I found out she lied to me constantly, was taking drugs, stealing, etc. Needles to say I kicked her out but I am overwhelmed with guilt.
