First of all how old are you? If you are a pre-teen or teenager, she is interested in talking with you.. If you are a grown up, then it is the same as taking your phone number.. This is a good way to keep safe for the girl but yet show she is interested....

In the simplest form, she would like to communicate with you via email. It could be a good way to get to know you. Afterwhich she may like you........or maybe she wont. So dont get too excited until you see how it goes. More importantly, would you like to get to know her?

dude i have bin talking to a girl for 3 days cause she asked for my im and we make each other laugh and stuff. it probaly means she wants to get to know you. then again she doesn't know if you are a 40 year old man

she might just want to get to know you and you talk to her online might not be a bad idea. i wouldn't talk about personal stuff only if she is a person who goes to your school and if it doesn't work out she will go spilling her guts on you which is sad to say but everyone is mean sometime.

My son has emails of dozens of guys and gals. They are just his friends and nothing more.
