my boyfriend and I have been seeing each other a year but his friend is really horrible to me, she ignores me when I try and talk to her and has even asked my boyfriend to move in with her right in front of my face on my birthday, I don't want her and my boyfriend to fall out so I said by all means hang out with her but I'd rather keep my distance now she's telling my friend she wouldn't have put us together in a million years and kept asking him to go out for a drink but not asking if i wanted to go and deliberatley excludes me from conversations, I've spoke to my boyfriend and he's been great listening and I know it's hard for him as they've beenfriends along time but he's even notices some of the things she's done, I don't want to cause confilct for anyone by confronting her but she's told lies to try and split us up aswell

I thought his solictor would have contacted me if he had... since then I know that he built a house that my step mother and step brother live in.... they are in a different country to where I live... how do I go about finding out if he left anything for me ? or if I have a claim on the house.... Traditionally, the woman's parents have the responsibility for paying for the wedding. What kind of crap is that? Thankfully, most weddings today; are split between the couple and/or the parents. But, what is up with that tradition? I've heard some men spout that they pay for everything else, why should they pay for the wedding? Well, if you claim you pay for everything else then why SHOULDN'T you pay for it? Sure, it's tradition, but that's a screwy one, in my opinion. I repeat...OPINION, but what do you all think?

He has a job but does absolutely nothing but drink beer and lay around watching tv when not there.
My mom tries to relate to him and converse with him but he doesnt respond.
But she keeps banging her head against the same wall over and over and guess who gets to hear about it?
He gives me dirty looks every time he sees me.
He calls my mom names whenever she tries to get him to help out with something
He caused us to have to move into a cheaper smaller place by lying about how much money he was making and not transfering to a job that paid more (because he had the option) at the same time my mom got fired from her job.
My mom is convinced that we need him to help pay the rent because she has a poor job but has not gone through with any attempts to find a better one.
I work a poor job too and am taking a class to get a better one. How do I finally get rid of him when I get that job? He is on the lease until May and I am on the lease too. Does that give me any rights? Out Deadbeat!

I think the advantage is that you get to learn more about their different views on things like religion, race, or personality, which would make you respect them more.
The disadvantage to me would be where you live at when having that relationship, such as the southern states, where race is still a very big issue and interracial couples can be treated cruely around some people.

My son is at University. He has an income of £150. I am ill at the moment and on benefits. Because he is now 18 they don't pay anything for him. He lives at home. Everything is done for him. He uses food from the house to supplement his lunch while at Uni.
How much should I charge him for rent? Can't afford not to charge him anything as they want me now to pay an additional £10 for rent and council tax.
