I have been in a relationship for over 4 years i have been with this guy and his child that he has custody because the mother walks out i have been over backwards for this child but i noticed that as she got older i felt like i had to fight for my partners attention. I feel like she has came in between us because we have lived together for the whole four years, do you think i am over reacting?

I like this one guy and He knows and he knows and then i found out that he was going to get back together with his ex until I told him. and he told me he liked me too, but idk if he means it. we've been friends for 4 years now and I hope hes being honest with me and not just saying that he likes me.

but, i dumped him because i ended up sleeping with this hot older guy named wilbur (who is almost 48 yrs old)

so john got upset and stuff. i told john he was a *** and to never speak to me again.

now ive been dating wilbur for like 2 weeks and i see all he wants is sex like all the time

john was a much better BF

also hes richer than wilbur! (well his family is LOL)

so how do i dump wilbur and get john to take me back?!

My girlfriend and I had an argument this past week. She's already told me she's not giving up on me; but because of the way I acted, it's gonna take time for her to be able to get over it and for things to get back to the way they were. What are some ideas and things I can do to "speed up" the process, or is it just gonna take time, like she said? There's gotta be something....

My mom wont let me go trick or treating with my friends. I kind of accepted it in the past but now that i am 13 and in 8th grade i want to go with my friends unchaperoned. When i was in 11 in 6th grade my mom wouldnt let me go with my friends (they were allowed to). So i ended up bringing my little brother and mom along.

What can i do to convince her to let me go with my friends? She says she and my brother have to come with me and my friends

Ok so this guy on my sports team kisses me out of the blue. Totally unexpected, but welcomed. We've been hanging out for about 2 months but never speak, so it was a total shock for me. He told me he'd been checking me out and asking friends about me and we hung out the whole night and kissed. I asked him if I should give him my number and he said no...that he'd see me that weekend. Weird right?

So I saw him that weekend and he introduced me to friends, danced with me, put his arm aorund me, held my hand the entire night but never tried to kiss me. And still did't ask for my number.

We saw each other again and he was by my side the whole night again, very friendly...but didn't try anything.

I guess my question is the typical 'what's going on?' Is he just not suddenly interested anymore or is he shy/afraid of what I think or just taking it slow?

I really want to hear from those people who are happily married. I need help with the part of marriage where sometimes you need to sacrifice what you really want to do because it doesn't meet the needs of your spouse or isn't good for your marriage. I'm not talking about the big things like cheating or chaning jobs or moving. Just the small things. I hate having to share my desert with my husband, I hate having to turn the TV down low when he goes to bed. I hate sacrificing my desire to have a cat because he is allergic. I am doing this anyways, I share with him, I try to cooperate with him about where to go for dinner, where to move the couch, when to go grocery shopping, but I resent him so much for it. I know it's immature and I would just like to hear from others who have dealt with this issue and how or when they got over it. I'v been married 2 years.

My husband's sister has always felt threatened by me, I'm quite sure it's jealousy. I used to have a great relationship with her daughter until she got jealous of that too and refused to allow us to see her daugter for a year! Our niece!!! His sister was the only girl with two brothers. I don't feel as if she has ever wanted me in the family. I've been married to my hubby for 23 years! She once told me that if it weren't for me she would be able to have the relationship she wants with him... not true! he doesn't agree with most of her morals and life ways. Last year she & her family blew off my birthday completely, as if after 23 years they just forgot? Not that I need gifts or cards from them, but we only live 20 min. from them. My husband was so angry he ignored HER birthday... but this year it's embarrassing... I just want to pretend I'm not home if they call. I don't EVEN want to hear from them because I know it will be forced. Why are women such biatches sometimes?

Asking a girl out at the bar is easy because you've likely been drinking and have less inhibitions. Plus, if you are dancing it's an easy "in". However, if you see a girl at the gym it's much harder because she is likely by herself and there is a chance that her headphones are on, thus you'd have to interrupt her. Therefore what's the easiest way to approach her and ask her out (assuming you don't know her or haven't talked to her before...but you do see her at the gym all the time)?

I have been with this girl for 4 years. At one time I was crazy about her. She liked me too but I guess I liked her more than she liked me. Then we spoke abt marriage and we decided we would get married in 2005. But then I didnt keep my word. And now I am not sure abt her and have tried to break up with her a few times but she ends up calling me and I just cant see her cry and the pain she is suffering. But somehow I dont feel the same. Maybe its not her just part of my personality as I am pretty self centered. Now I have to make this toughest decision of my life and I am not sure if I want to marry her. I sometimes feel she has been so loyal to me and has stayed with me for 4 years and she will be by by side forever and loves me so much that I should marry her. My family doesnt like her much and marrying her would put a strain on my relationship with my family. Is she the one??? Should I marry her? If I have to break up with her, how should I do it so it will be less hurtful?
