No, not mine but I've heard of a Dr Death.

Jenny sound friendly and caring to me (but maybe that's just because my sister's name is Jennifer).
To me a Jenny could be in patient care or child care.

Hell, prove the studies wrong, ignore your fate and go become whatever you want.

A jenny is a cross between a horse and a donkey.
Mitch Rider and the Detroit Wheels had a song with the refrain "Jenny take a ride"

Jenny to me seems bubbly, probably a secretary who makes everyone laugh in the office and she's the one that keeps things lively. It's kind of a cliche girl name so I don't think of having a real prestigious job or anything..like I said a fun secretary comes to mind, not in a stuffy office but surrounded by other ppl. I think everybody would love you and you'd be really outgoing..

I dont know the statistics or anything from the study but sadly you are correct people with hard to spell names or hard to pronounce names get overlooked for jobs sometimes even discriminated against.

I don't like Jenny. If your name is Jennifer then you should use it...no shortening.

My name is Lucy--it means bringer of light. Don't know that it means much but I'm just tossing that out there

I don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if subconsciously the sound of a name registers a certain way with people. If you know where this study is, could you locate it and mention where it is cause I'd like to read it. If you can, thanks.

No. My name is very plain and simple. Never had a problem other than people thinking that Beth isn't my full name, which it is.
