I think the problem for you is that when you have the time for each other you are probably tired ..I went through this 3 times with the wifey..
Any family around that might take the baby for a night?Baby sitters can get expensive(and you don't know what they are up to)..Plan it like you would a vacation..go to dinner and a movie..go home and well..you figure it out,I am not DR Ruth..lol

I just had a baby not that long ago. She is 6 months now. So I know how exhausted you must be. Do not try to keep the house clean from top to bottom. That will only make your tired condition worse. Instead, try to do little things here and there to keep the house neat-looking. You HAVE To get rest. Sleep when your baby sleeps. That way when your husband gets home, you will be refreshed or not too tired, and you can put the baby down for a nap and spend some time with your man.

lol i know what your thinking here . you think your husband needs the old you and your affraid he might stray if he has to wait lol . well im a guy and i have two kids and a mom has a few months where she has little if any time for anyone but baby but what you dont know is us guys have a span of time where we only think of babt too until it gets much bigger . he understands and he will wait for baby to grow into a size that allows someone to watch him or her while you two go out .only your mom would be a good person to trust such a young one to so unless you can get her to watch and care for it then wait or take it with you . in any case realize your man loves you more now than he did before and you two have a bond that not even divorce can break and the love between you two can now grow at a scary rate if your both smart and pull together and love each other with baby sitting right thare between you two looking up and learning how two should love . just sit him down and let what evers on your mind come out and then let him do same then find a way to have time together and baby is part of both of you . to bring it along is not a turnoff here its a turnon . comgratulations haveing my kids was the best thing i ever did and i loved my wife the most after we had them .

Put the baby to bed, and just sit on the couch and watch a movie together at first, or have a romantic late night snack. It's important that you preserve your relationship with your husband. Do whatever you have to to make sure it stays intact.

It shouldn't be time for your husband, it should be family time. Something some parents and children are cut short of. However, alone personal time, comes once the children are tucked away snoozing..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Get a baby sitter. Or have a picnic in bed after the kid falls asleep.

Get a babysitter & go out for the evening. You deserve it.
