I like this one guy and He knows and he knows and then i found out that he was going to get back together with his ex until I told him. and he told me he liked me too, but idk if he means it. we've been friends for 4 years now and I hope hes being honest with me and not just saying that he likes me.

ask him straight out if he is getting back with the ex. if he says no,. well there is yr chance. read tips on dating and relationships to help you more on this site

If he is with his ex, let that be. If he says he likes you while he is still with someone he may be keeping you on the backburner, or really mean it. Either way it's a leap of faith, in my opinion, I would just let it ride out as friends with him, and go on my own path as well.

the best thing to do is to ask him if he is going to reconsider dating his ex again and to be truthful with you. you shouldnt get your hopes up because in the end youll be the one who ends up hurt.
