I have this close friend who is in a abusive (physical/ mental) relationship goin on 6 years. Her and her boyfriend have 3 children together. Over the years she has said she wants to leave him and said she knows how unhealthy her life is having him around. She also speaks of wanting a better life.... without him. She says all this good stuff and just when I think shes finally gonna leave this abusive relationship she's back with him. Its a continous cycle. I want to understand what goes though her mind and why she keeps this relationship going. I dont understand. I'd simply say just leave him...but for her its easy said than done.. why? I want to understand!

To be 18 and already now the number of children you want and the names you like the job you want. I know want to be married at 24 be a history teacher or a marine biologist or zoologist and have a baby at 25-26 possibly 2 to 3 boys and a girl.And like the names Isabel or Joselin for a girl, vincent, john and david/ or michelle for boys. And also left room for a divorce at 34 - 35 if the marriage is going badly and a mid-life crisis at 38. I also plan to have at least a part time job and a carrier the whole way and to take three years off when i have kids. I am in my first year of college and already picked all this out even that i plan to graduate early and meet my husband there.

In his opinion trusting him is more important to him than staying faithful...he says he could trust me to sleep naked next to another man and if I said I didnt do anything, he would believe me.....what can I do to have that much trust in him? What can I do to work on my insecurity .....yes you are probably thinking hes fed me some bull, and tried to make me feel guilty, but I believe he didnt do anything now....how can I reassure him that I want to trust him, and I want him to forgive me?

hi all...i am an architect by profession and am to get married this jan...my fiance is a gem of a person and cares alot for me but he does not take my career seriously...my boss does not allow me to go home during the lunch break ...the rule is eat in the office..but he says that his dad wants the entire family on the lunch table and so i should quit my job..this job means a lot to me...what do i do??? i am not in a position to directly talk about my problem to his dad as yet as i am scared of his dad.

First of all, I help, but I don't do half, but I work about 60 hours a week on average and she works 35 hours. But she still seems to want me to do 50%, and I think that is unreasonable, given the huge difference in work hours. I feel like we should both help but she should do a bit more because she gets home about 3-4 hours before me and that way we maximize how much free time we have together. Basically, she thinks doesn't include work in the equation and I feel we should.

i'm 15 and so is he. so whenever we were in history class last year, he kepton asking me how the tests went for me.. but then when we get them back he braged that he got A's. And then on the street, he randomly called out my name, and started asking me if i knew for the final would be graded. i mean hello!! do i look like the teacher?? I never gave my name to him and his friends don't know me. he was in the history class after mine.. so he couldn't have known my name from class.
my friend says he's not shy at all.. so if he liked me.. wouldn't he have already asked me out?
so this year we have a class together, but it's been 4 weeks and he hasn't said anything. nonetheless, i find him staring at me all the time. and today he finally talked to me to see if i understood a concept. all i said was "no". i felt so awful afterwards!! do you think he'll talk to me again? what does it seem like he wants?

ok so i dump him at school. he was always talking to other girls rite in front of me like i didnt even exist. i even heard he was making plans to go to the movies w/ 4 other girls on a night i wanted to do somthign w/ him. so i decided to dump him. i had to wait a week for the rite opportunity. i didnt want him to b in front of people hed get embarased in front of. so i dump him rely nicely. i was like i just dont think this is working out. i didnt say that he was a jerk or call him names or anythign which is what he deserved. after i leave the room. i hear back from friends he was runing around saying "yes! yes! im so happy she dumped me!" wen i kno for a fact he was completley happy w/ me. and i heard he sed "yeah i was planning on dumping her 2 days ago" which is a lie. he liked me, he cant deal w/ the fact that he was rejected. shood i confront him? and b like wat is ur problem? or just let the whole school kno that I dumped him. because hes been teling peolple we decided to split

I care for my husband’s 5 kids from a prior marriage. They range in ages 10-19. I have no kids. He works at least 12 hrs per / 7days a wk. His children came to live with us about a year ago, their mother asked us to keep them for 2-3 yrs while she gets some things in order. I have health probs, & take 6 different meds each day. I have not been able to work for 9 mos. My hus does not read or write. I supervise his kids, get them ready 4 school each day, do about 4 hours of homework with them each night, talk with serve as contact 4 their teachers, help them w/English lessons (they R in ESL classes at school) & so on. We have 1 car. Today my hus is taking a break from work to nap (this is very rare). I ask if I may run an errand w/his car by myself. He says no he'll take me b/c in the past I've sometimes returned it 20-40 minutes later than I promised and his 18/19 yo sons have McDonald’s jobs & may be late due to me. They have 2 hrs before work, my errand is 15 min away. Thoughts pls?
