Not if you've done it a hundred times before and are comfortable with each other and both pissed as a fart on the wedding night and can laugh about it the next day. If you've never had sex...then its a bit of a bummer because if youve quelled the motion for so long...you'd have to be gagging for it. If you arent...you'd have to wonder why this person was so asexual before the wedding night.

Never good to have first sex on a wedding night...because you dont know how that person works/thinks about sex. You'd never buy a car without running it in surely? Lifetime is a VERY long time...so never commit without being a couple first....because a lifetime of no or minimal sex is a bad thing to agree to without your own REALISTIC consent.

Not unless you both want to. It's a lot of pressure to have sex after a long day of preparation, wedding, reception, dealing with family and friends, possible traveling to honeymoon. Planning your wedding and getting everything done is so much fun, but it's also an amazing amount of work and stress. Trust me, my husband and I felt this way! You don't realize it until you're finally by yourself with your new spouse that all you really want is a cup of tea and a nap. Wait until the next morning if you want to start the first day of marriage off on a wonderful note.

NO way, that is a long hard day, you have the rest of your lives to have sex together. I was so busy that day with friends and family, I didn't even eat, no sex either. People come from all over to wish you well and see you, so if you are drained it should be considered normal, and you shouldn't worry about sex that night, when you arrive at your honeymoon destination you will be ready to get it on. Sex can be an everyday thing but your wedding and honey moon are a one time thing.

Of course not! It could come during the afternoon or morning of the wedding. You don't have to wait until that night to enjoy it.

It's even better when you sneak off for sex right before the wedding occurs! Make all your quests wait 15 minutes longer and wonder where you are!

Don't forget that the night before the wedding is a great time to have sex, too.

it's ok if your wife is ok with it , but it's natural if u have the urge then why not , but i suggest u wait a little bit , to find out how she is feelings , if she has the mood for having intercourse then go ahead but if its not don't , because she wouldn't like the sex either you especially u because she ain't active or excited about it so she might give you a poor effort so it would kinda so let her be in the mood

My husband and I didn't wait till marriage for sex, so we were used to having great sex and the night of our wedding we felt pressure to have the best sex ever... we had sex, but it would have been just as great if we hadn't.

I don't think it's "necessary" but I think it would be a beautiful way to consummate the relationship as husband and wife.
