According to my wife her girl friends are shocked that we have sex almost every other day and it last over an hour each time. My wife says they are upset that they dont have the same as us. Is she correct? Married over 22 years.

Just so you know my husband and I enjoy each other on a regular basis,sometimes 2x a day, the longest we go without doing it is 2 nights. We have been married 22 yrs also. Its nice to know there are others out there too. As for your wife she should take the being upset as a compliment. We have friends that have been only married 2 yrs and maybe get it twice a mo. they also say they wish they could be as fortunate as we are. You have been greatly blessed and should keep doing what your doing. We have a joke that we are going to die together with smiles on our faces!! LOL

Yes your sex life is rare for a 22 year old marriage! You must really show love and respect to your wife to be so lucky to be getting all that loving.
I would think a marriage of 22 years would be once a week if that maybe twice a month for a half hour tops!! Your sexlife is the same for a newlywed or new relationship. I would be happy with that after five years.
People tend to get comfortable in a relationship and take one another for granted. The last thing on their mind is sex. You and your wife obviously have not forgotten how to care for one another. That is wonderful.
You both are lucky!! Congratulations on such a wonderful marriage. With the divorce rate being so high, you are definitely unique all around.

Guess it depends on the people. My ex-husband & I used to have sex 4-6 times a week on average. Sometimes it lasted for an hour and sometimes it lasted 10-15 minutes. I think it depends on the mood the 2 of you are in. If you just want quick pleasure then a "quickie" is ok. But if you are feeling more passionate then I would say and hour or so would be better.
Good for you & your wife to be as active and satisfied with that part of your relationship after 22 years. That isn't typical of most relationships, especially after that length of time. Congrats!

Don't worry about what others think, for one thing. If you both are happy with it, then that's all you need to worry about. :)
Yes, people will be jealous because that's exactly what they want as well. So be glad and happy that you aren't one of the jealous ones! :)
My husband and I are exactly the same. We love and respect eachother completely. I don't know how many other couples out there have told us we have "a fairytale marriage." I used to worry about hurting their feelings, but my husband (who is a therapist) said that we should be glad about having a happy marriage, not spend our time worrying about the jealousy. It won't change the fact of their jealousy, but it could change how well we enjoy eachother. So please don't worry about it. Just enjoy it!
My husband and I have been married 11 years and each year is better than the last. Seems hard to believe seeing as how wonderful it was the first year, but love deepens and grows. I like to think of it as good wine....it gets better the older it gets! :)

Well my husband have sex at least once each day but it doesnt neccessarily last that long... just depends on how long the foreplay is on how fast it takes for us to get off. Sometimes it's fun to just take things slow. Sometimes we'll just have a bunch of quickies in one day... it all depends.

u should have as much sex with your wife as you both need and she shouldn't base her relationship against someone ele's every couple has different needs
