My wife wants a divorce simply because she is unhappy. I have tried. I just got served today. The lawyers tell me the best I can do is shared custody and pay her. I can not live without my 3 boys 6, 8, and 10. At 50 I can not start over. This was my life plan. If I get the boys I will give her 24/7 visitation. She is free to come and go, date what ever. I don't care. I need my boys. I have no one in my court.
Does anyone know anyone who can help?
On top of this she is going to a women of faith conference in Orlando next week. Would a woman of faith do this??
If you are a speaker at this event I sure hope you address this issue and direct it to all pastors and divorcing women.
I don't think my boys want to live a day without me or their mom.
God please come through...

Is it selfish of me to not want to pursue someone ( who is interested in me or seems to be) or anyone for that matter simply because i'm obbsessed with snowboarding and I want to snowboard and not get to the point where i can hardly go? There's other things i want to do too..but thats the biggest one.

Ps Sorry to keep ansking similer questions..i'm just trying to get this all cleared up in my mind.

My husband and I have been married for a few years. He cheated on me three months after we got married and begged me to give him a second chance. So I did, we have been working on the trust factor for the past three years-there have been some white lies here and there but a month ago I caught him chatting on-line with a female (which he denied) and found out that they were calling/text messaging for 3-5 months...he said nothing happened....but I have a hard time believing him.

My whole life, I've become accustomed to being on my own. I have my mother, but we have no other family, which always made holidays depressing. I'm not too close to her, either. I also don't have a single friend or even acquaintance. Let me tell you, every day I try to be happy, cheerful, and polite to people. I'm not shy. But I get the feeling I have a bad reputation (high school) and that people don't want to be seen with me. I've always kept being friendly to people, but through elementary, middle and now, high school, I have NOBODY to talk to. I have a job after school, same problem. I have joined clubs, all excited and enthusiastic, stuck it out for a long time, but each time, I end up isolated. I am an atheist, so joining church or having "jesus/god be my best friend" isn't going to happen. I already have a shrink. Come to think of it, I only feel really at ease with animals, which is hard, because their lives are too short...

People go their entire lives not connecting with that one person that makes them feel like no one else has or can. Because I'm a minister, it is even more difficult to feel a connection with someone. However, I have had some very, very serious and life-like dreams about a man that I just cannot seem to get out of my mind. I am approached by men often but none of them have aroused me physically, mentally, or spiritually like I feel for this man. I'm too embarrassed to go to my pastor and let him know I feel so strongly about someone I've never met personally. I have only seen him. I believe deep in my heart that I must meet this man in order to move on and I believe I'm going to meet him. I need some type of closure on this matter. I believe dreams can come true and that some dreams are telling what is to come. I am totally consumed by this man and I have felt this way for almost two years now. What should I do?

ok... my best friend i go to school with is a guy. ive known him for like 4-5 years, but i really am starting to have feelings for him. it didnt start bothering me till about a week ago. everytime he hugz me or sumthing i get chills(good ones) and i feel so small and cute and protected. he sticks up for me with everything. he treats me so well. everytime i hear his name or see him coming i get all excited and my stomach drops! but like i said, he's my best friend and im afraid if i try and get this to go further i'll lose the relationship i have with him now. and i really dont want that to happen. pleaz give me some advice. i could use it! thnx!

I don't like him based on his looks and accent etc but I don't really know the real him. On the inside! Should i give him a chance and get to know him or just say what the heck. ?

I've been on this site for a while now, asking people to help me with my girlfriend and our various problems. I've had a lot of answers that have seriously helped, and, after everything, I realise I've changed for my girlfriend but she's just never going to change for me... Not that I want her too, but she's so darn stubborn that she's never going to admit wrong and thus, she'll never change anything on her part to solve a problem or argument.

So, my question is... since I'm in love with her (and I surely am, there's no doubt about it), do I just accept the fact I'm the one to change or do I get out of this relationship? She's so amazing, so wonderful and so "perfect" to me that I really can't imagine being without her, and just thinking about being apart kills me inside.

She's not nasty or anything, it's just... she's not going to change, even though I've talked to her about every problem I've had - it always come back to me and "I" have to make an effort to change.

Ideas?
