People go their entire lives not connecting with that one person that makes them feel like no one else has or can. Because I'm a minister, it is even more difficult to feel a connection with someone. However, I have had some very, very serious and life-like dreams about a man that I just cannot seem to get out of my mind. I am approached by men often but none of them have aroused me physically, mentally, or spiritually like I feel for this man. I'm too embarrassed to go to my pastor and let him know I feel so strongly about someone I've never met personally. I have only seen him. I believe deep in my heart that I must meet this man in order to move on and I believe I'm going to meet him. I need some type of closure on this matter. I believe dreams can come true and that some dreams are telling what is to come. I am totally consumed by this man and I have felt this way for almost two years now. What should I do?

He is very well-known and I have a way to meet him, I just don't know how to make the approach.

I would say yes because the way I define love is caring about the happiness of another and doing what you can to make that person happy. So, yes you can want to make someone else happy while they don't know it.

approach him and ask him out for a coffee- what's the worst that can happen- rejection? Atleast you'll sleep after knowing a little more rather than wishing, hoping, praying you can find out other ways. For a minister you're not great on the obvious

I don't know if you are talking about a real person or just a figment of your imagination. To answer your question - I don't think you can actuallly be in love with this person. You can be infatuated or have a crush on him. If he's real try to meet him. If not, well... Get help.

Some times dreams become a living nightmare. People who live only in dreams, hopes, wishing, end up alone. You do not want to go there.

I think you've answered your own question there. If you're seeking closure, then just find an excuse - ANYTHING - to talk to him. It really doesn't matter what. Spill a cup of tea on him. JUST DO SOMETHING. Or you will go insane.

What should you do? DO NOTHING...you can't put your life on hold for someone you've never met or even know. Sounds to me as though it's some kind of fantasy your having.

Yes, love does not have to be both ways. you can love someone who does not even know you.
Tell him, it is the only way he will know.
If you have loved him for two years and still he does not see it, then what do you have to lose?

Some of my best relationships were with people who didn't know I existed.
