Is it selfish of me to not want to pursue someone ( who is interested in me or seems to be) or anyone for that matter simply because i'm obbsessed with snowboarding and I want to snowboard and not get to the point where i can hardly go? There's other things i want to do too..but thats the biggest one.

Nope, not selfish. I'm in the same boat. I want to do my own sh*t and not have to worry about anyone else.

No, I don't think it is selfish at all! You are on the earth to live your life and do the things you love and there is nothing wrong with that.

If you do like this person, why don't you have a chat about it and tell him your concerns and see where it leads? You can always give it a go and if it does not work out then hey at least you tried. Does he like to snowboard too? Perhaps you have other things in common as well? My sister was in the same predicament but she just told her man that she would not be available much over the winter months and that if he wanted to be with her then it would have to be on the mountain each weekend! he he

No, you do what you want to do. If snowboarding is more important, by all means snowboard.

Maybe you need to find someone that's also really into snowboarding. Be aware that sometimes people will pretend they like something just to get the relationship going.

Nope- not selfish at all. If you want a snowboarder then pursue it and Don't settle! You'll only end up resenting you non-snowboarding significant other.

If you are more into sports right now than dating, there is nothing wrong with that. As long as you are not obsessive, it's o.k. When you feel the need for a relationship, you'll find time for it.

When you put snowboarding ahead of relationships, you are obsessed--you have a problem.

If he just "seems" to be interested don't worry about it. You are young, go out and do what you want to do.
