First take a look at your wedding budget I am sure there are a lot of places around that are nice, but you have to keep in mind weddings today are not cheap many average weddings are going for $5000-20000 and no matter where you hold it the price is still going to be high. You have to find places that are willing to work with small to limited budgets and depending on where you're at in Rhode Island cost wise varies from place to place most beachside resorts charge more, but that also goes for hotels as well. Just get a list of places together and call around and ask what they charge for inexpensive to moderate weddings to be held there and how far in advance you have to book it.
