you can be friends with anyone as long as you make it well clear to that person that that is all it is. What a good way to learn to know someone from the inside is becomeing friends with them and get to know them then determine from there weather or not you would be compatible for something more or if it is best to stay on a friendship bases. I wouldn't turn my back away from anyone. Just make it well know that you are willing to become friends but that is all you are looking for and want nothing more. If you really don't want to deal with him just let him know you have your eye on someone else or you are interested in someone else at this time. Tell him you are involved with someone else. If you want to know what kind of person he is ask him to write a letter to you telling you about himself then go from there. If you have a cell phone or an email address swap it with him and just talk, could get to know him that way with out going out or be sean in public with him. Passing Email letters back and forth on the computer might be a good way to learn what kind of person he really is from the inside. Good luck dear...

The Ugliest Man in the World can be beautiful if you fall in love.
Does your family have predjuidices against good looking men with accents? Is he a foreigner? YOu might be missing out on the love of your life if you turn him down.
But if you really arent attracted to him, why bother. Go out with a guy you find attractive then.

well if you hope he leaves you alone- then you don't really want to give him a chance. The fact you're asking is either to waste time or that you can't bring yourself to say that you like men with accents- big deal- if i'm not wrong you fancy the pants off him but won't admit it. You know what you have to do... especially cos 'you don't want to deal with this'

Well, if you don't like him, then don't give him ANY chance! Take me for example, I'm not interested in Guy A, but he keeps on asking me out. You just have to be super super clear when conveying your message to guys because, well, lets just say they are slow to take rejection. Good luck....

if you don't want to deal with this then tell him if he approaches you that your not interested in a relationship right now and ask if you can just be friends. maybe you'll develop feelings for him or not . but at least this way its out in the open.

You don't sound like you like this person at all, and, if that's true, let him know you don't "feel" anything romantic and don't let him keep on thinking he has a chance. Or, if you're feeling like a risk... give him a go. You never know!

Sometimes, it's better to deal with it head on and let him know what you think and ask him what he wants....who knows? he might be thinking the same thing about you too...hahaha
