One of my best friends is from Mexico. She has asked me to be Nanny to her daughter...which I am very proud of. I need to know...what is a Nanny in Mexico? Any advice from someone who is from there would be greatly appreciated.

I have been told on numerous occaisions that white/caucasion people are more friendlier to black people with a lighter skin complexion than most black people.

One white guy once told me that he finds lighter skinned blacks easier to look at than their darker skinned counterparts.

I know within the black community it is believed that light skin blacks are more prefferred by white people because it is believed that whites cant stand anything that is too dark.

I just wanted to know if it is true.

I am 18 and my boyfriend is 48. She thinks he is too old but I love him and I feel he is not only my friend but my father figure. She thinks hes Mexican when hes not just because hes dark and has problems with his age and complexion. She thinks he is not a professional just because he lives in a bad neighborhood but people dont always get paid a lot. She thinks hes illegal because he looks mexican to her and he knows spanish and a lot about the mexican countryside and ways of crossing the border but its only because he has been there many times. She has a problem because he is older than her but I cant stop talking to him. She says she wants to send him to the border but hes from america and she calls him ugly ect omg what to do

My daugher is going out with a 45 year old man online! I just recently saw him on webcam and wasnt wearing any clothes. Help! Whenever I tell my daughter to stop contacting him , she won't listen, she just says that I'm ruining her life. She even gave this man our house phone number and she threatens that shes going to give him our adress too if I don't stop bugging her about this man. I have tried several parrental controls for the computer but none work because she always finds a way to disable them. What should I do?

Ok, this has to do with my husbands and my bills and us trying to get back ahead on bills and savings.
We haven't gone out to eat (something not a luxory for us, it was something we did every night), we are buying groceries for breakfast lunch and dinners, we are not buying beer four times a week like we were I limited us to once a week, i have not gone shopping in who knows how long (well except for groceries)........ I not going to Express and buying hundreds of dollars of clothes and going to Clinique and spending money on makeup... i am usin walmart brands etc.....
Ok, that is the background of my question........ Why am doing all these things (cause guess who cooks everynight??) and making all these sacrifices, if my husband gets to use the toll roads costing us $120.00 a month just to make it home 30 minutes faster? And why does he get to go to home depot and buy tools and things he could borrow from someone?
Do you think he should be limited too?

Hey folks I have a delima. I have been separated from my husband for 7 years (he is well to do and doesn't want a divorce).
I met a pastor (yes we have fooled around a few times, and he's not that good) and we have been dating for three months he is cheap and annoying but also very progressive and has his own business besides being a widowed pastor. In between my husband and the pastor i dated what some might call a thug, he has had some minio infractions with the law in his past. He is fine, a good lover and appears to love me very much. Me and thug have started seeing each other again (for about three weeks I have enjoyed his company so much; thats what pastor gets for traveling 50% of his time) I have received a proposal from pastor and thug and my husband (after cheating on me for years) has asked to reconcile. What would you do ladies? gents welcome to answer also. PS I love thug but he can not give the financially secure life that pastor ir hubby can) Love or Security?

Okay so twice now my older brother has e-mailed my boyfriend threw my space and basically telling him if you hurt my sister I will kill you. And using the word kill and other really wrong words. My boyfriend has never once done anything wrong. I know we live 3000 miles apart. But not once has my brother taken the time to e-mail my boyfriend to get to know him. When my brother was visting in august he never once bothered to sit down with me and even ask me to questions. I know some people think its not a big deal but to me and my friend it is. He has never once done anything wrong. In Novemeber he is even takeing time to comeout to cali to meet with my family so they can get to know him before I move with him. But to me its just not fair. I dont know what to do. But I think its really wrong for someone to go and threaten someones life. IN the two e-mails you can tell my brother was not joking either. Someone please give me some advice on what to do. Thank you so much.

I got a call form one of my female friends a minute ago.. She use to love to date bad boys . I use to wonder why but after reading a few books and observing life experiences I knwo why she did it.
