I mean with fixing things around the house. He is gone like 2 weeks at a time. Home for maybe 2 days. i feel guilty when ask him to fix something that I cant. i have dealt with a sewyer backing up in basement by myself and getting ladder out and putting storm windows twice a year on. Im not helpless but sometimes it gets overwhelming. Since he has been gone 2 weeks do I ask for help or just let him watch TV?

I find myself faced with two choices, The first is to live how those around me want me to live or the second to leave it behind and follow my dream of a different career in the armed services which i want. Which is the better option to live a lie or to follow ones dreams and move away from their family?

We've had a bit of a rough relationship. (Breaking up getting back together kind of things)

[[which has only happened twice]]

We have a high school/college relationship
*im a senior in college hes a sophomore in college.*

and we argue like normal couples do obviously.

but lately as we've been recovering from our last break up, (it was a awful one)

and as we get closer and getting back to where we were i find my self jumping down his throat at any slight thing he does wrong.

I keep pushing him away and then pulling him in
like im afraid we might break up again.
(i look so pathetic)

I want it back to how things where before we broke up. is that even possible?

I've had an ongoing sexual relationship with this guy for over a year. We had a great relationship, good friends & good lovers. But just recently he had to move back home for a job. We're both settling down with our careers, he's 32 I'm 25, so I think it's best right now to take a break anyway to get everything in priority. He wants to keep in touch, which I don't know how often I should keep in contact. I believe we both have mutual feelings but since he moved away, I'm not sure how things will turn out. Is it best to take my time with the relationship and let him take the next step? I miss him, and I'm sure he misses me, and I believe that absence makes the heart grow fonder. Only time will tell? Has anyone else had this happen? What's the best approach?

I was w/the same guy for 5 years and he didn't like to cuddle unless he was trying to get laid. Do most guys not like to cuddle or do most like it? I would be so sad bc he didn't want to cuddle w/me. I'm just curious. I've always wondered that.

I've fallen out of love. I've done a lot of growning up. I want to move ahead with my life and he's apart of that childhood. We have 2 kids, which is tough. But I can't go living my life unhappy. I was depressed for months and I want to live a better life for my kids. But I know he still loves me. We're seperated now and he lives somewhere else. But he still thinks we can be together. How can I tell him I don't think it's going to be that way anymore. How do I tell him I don't want to be married to him anymore?

I am reposting this because I did not receive any good responses:

We've known each other since Nov. 2005 and officially got together in Feb. 2006. In October he plans on getting mobilized and going back to his hometown in NC so that he can be closer to where he is stationed (he's in the military). I am 21 -- he is 26. He feels that I am an adult and should be able to do what I want, but at the same time, my mother doesn't like our relationship and I know she would be devasted if I left her. He respects her decision since I still live at home, but he says at some point and time I am going to have to leave and my mother cannot hold on to me forever. I'm not sure if I should just abruptly leave to go with him to his home or stay up here. He definitely has plans of marrying me if I come with him and he really wants me to go to college and just get from under the control of my parent.

If you have tried it - Did it work for you?
What did you like and dislike about it?

The nice guy calls you up and asks you out. He flirts with you and talks to you when he sees you. He's not afraid of you saying no or otherwise being rejected. He doesn't let other people walk all over him. He stands up for what he believes in, and takes the steps to make it happen.

On the other hand, "bad boys" are weak and insecure. They overcompensate by being loud, vulgar, and attention-seeking. Women love these men, and falsely believe that they are "confident".

Why are women in such denial about this?

Hello All,

My Fiance and I are getting married in Late October. We are having a small ceremony with just friends and family. She has asked that I play my guitar and sing at the wedding.

I am planning to play The Wedding Song (There is Love) by Paul Stookey and possibly Your Song by Elton John. My daughter is Playing Canon in D during the procession.

I thought I would come here and see if I could get some suggestions for other songs that I might want to consider. I want to have at least 2 and maybe three depending on how we decide to structure the ceremony.

I would guage my skill level at ealy to mid intermediate if that helps, so simpler is better as I really only have a month to learn and polish anything new.

So, what would you suggest?

Thanks in advance,

Triegger

Its all relative, major and minor.

I don't understand...why do i get so upset when people don't do the things that they say that they will do or are late for appointments? I get all worked up and really angry at them but don't show it at that very moment but make a mental note to reduce contact with them? I hate myself for doing that but i can't seem to get over stuff like that? How do u learn to give people a second chance? It seems like a trivial matter but it's driving me nuts and making me miserable!
