You shouldn't ask that here. Different pills work differently on different people. Even the doctors are guessing.
I was on all kinds until I found alprozolam and it worked great. Took the edge off AND no side effects. (all the others made me ridiculously sleepy.) Then another doctor tried to take me off of it saying that it was addictive. I didn't know what addiction truly meant until I tried a different pill. Talk to a psychiatrist who has access to more pills. Go thru all of them if you have to until you find one that works. And don't be shy about instantly rejecting any for side effects. It's no good if the side effect is worse than the cause that you are taking it in the FIRST place. I got depressed and needing anti depressants BECAUSE I was so frustrated with my meds. Don't give up. Try again. Best of luck.

I was on them for over 15 years. Only one that tried worked. Paxil. I took them all, but I have to tell you, Lexapro was the last one! I started to hear things that weren't there, I would have to pull off the road to take nap due to exhaustion. I could not remember things. I got irritable. I would see lights trail around me when I took my eyes away to look at something else. When I did stop taking Lexapro, it took me over a year to get back normal. After that, I decided to tough it out. Some do work but not for everyone. Some people never find one that works. And after a while, they loose their effect. Do not let me discourage you though, Paxil was a God send while it worked!

Sounds like your dosage of Alprazolam may be too strong so that could be the reason for your fatigue. See if you can function well with breaking it in half. Also, check your diet. Unhealthy eating can make you sluggish. Try this, it definitely works. Get some organic apple cider vinegar (Braggs brand has worked wonders for me) and some honey;. Mix 2 tablespoons of each with 6-8 oz of warm water and sip it like tea twice a day. This prompts your body to heal itself from within, flushes out toxins, boosts your energy and mood, lowers blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol, clears your skin, improves eyesight and helps with weight loss. Hopefully you will find a combination of medicine and nature to help with your health. Be encouraged...

I took Zoloft for 4 years for anxiety they worked but made me feel no emotion! My nan passed away and we were really close but at her funeral I barely shed a tear. They also disrupted my digestion by giving me wind and diarea I am off them now and feel better than ever but still have the ocasional day where i'm down.My advice would be to try and stay off medication if possible. good luck

I know that it is necessary to complement a regimen of antidepressant doses with talk therapy participation.
