My husband and I have been together for 2 1/2 yrs. We've almost seperated more times than I can count. And I keep hoping that something will change. Over all he is a great guy. He's not abusive, doesn't yell, doesn't hit, throw things, nothing like that. He does get up and go to work every day. He joined the army to take care of his children. But it seems to me that he feels his duty has ended there. I have put up with a great deal because I know he was raised with a family that were on drugs, he was alone, raised himself for the most part. No one to trust. I know he has not allowed himself to completely open himself up to this marriage or this family and really love me or the kids. He has been forced since a very younge age to count on his computer and now the machines at work. They won't let him down and if they break he can fix them no problem. Since he mom has cleaned herself up a few years ago, she started spoiling him, and that has become a serious problem.

First of all, I want you all to know that I love this man with all my heart. We got engaged in December last year, and obviously it was the best day of my life. But then a month later I found out that he has been going on to chatlines for about 3 months, and met a girl in that way, which he wanted to meet, but I caught it in time. We had a lot of fights then, and he tried very hard, and he swore to me, that he will never get involved in something like that again, and he will never hurt me like that again. Like all of you know, it's hard to just forget when you've been hurt like that. But it is going better! We still getting married in November! What would you do? Do you think i made a dumb choice? Can men really feel bad for what they did, and never do it again? Honestly now? i'm strong I can handle straight forward answers.

Last night my son asked me if I was dating anyone, I'm not so I told him that. He said when you do I want to know. I have never lied to my kids before, they have always known that I would tell them at least as much as I thought they should know about any given situation. The thing here is, I have no intention of letting my kids meet anyone until I know there is something there. I don't want to lie to him and I don't want to tell him every time I go out with some guy who probably will end up being nothing at all...my son is very protective and can't stand the idea that I might date anyone. How do I get around lying when he asks?

1) Is going on a week trip with a person I really want to be with in the future, in an early stage of relationship, concidered not good?
Do you easily get bored with your partner after a long week together, especialy when you've only been together for 3 months?

2) Guys, do you think you'd like to take your girl with you to another country for a holiday, if she's the one who addressed of wanting to go with you? I found some people think it's a huge turn off when girls are wanting to follow you to your planned holiday.

We've been together for only 3 months yet, seeing eachother only in weekends since we live in different city, which is great to keep things fresh! Just don't want to mess up things too early...

A friend of mine is plaining to get married, but can not aford the expences that his soon-to-be wife what's. I stated that maybe they should have a cheaper union and at 10yrs have big blowout do-over. this is so they don't start off with a large amout of debt. What is ypur oppion?

My wife to be's father had an affair for thirty years and has fallen out with a lot of the family who he does not speak to any more, my fiance and I started speaking to him again, he see's our children even though it upsets others in the family. By inviting him it may upset others i.e her mother and sisters who she is very close to. She wants her father to walk her down the isle but she doesnt want an atmospher on our day, she doesnt want to fall out with her dad again but wants everyone else to enjoy the day, do we upset 1 person or potentially 5or 6? Or alternativley do we take our 2 little boys away and get married in secret and risk upsetting both our families?

I have a 2 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. They are forever fighting and wrestling all day long. Someone always ends up in tears. I've read that they fight to get my attention, but they fight even when I'm not around. Some say it's boredom, but even if I distract them into other activities it's only a matter of time until they're back at each other again. Any suggestions to help this would be welcomed!!

He's known this chic since they were 7- She lives next door to his parents house (which he's moving home in 1 month) and he's really good friends with her dad...She's attractive etc. and he told me around 2 months ago that if she didn't have a bf he would want to date her..Well now he's claiming she's like a little sister because him and I are a little more serious about liking each other now but since I know how he really feels about her Im uncomfortable about them talking and hanging out alot which they do! She does have a bf but him and her are broken up right now- and last nite i got drunk and used his phone to text message her and she admitted that she is attracted to him and would maybe date him if her and her bf were totally over! Now this is something I dont want to deal with but I do really like this guy? I don't know what to do! He's not the cheater type but I can't really ask him to never talk to her again cuz hes known her for so long and she's really close to his family!
