Here's the thing about the way american girls or really girls in general operate. A different accent will get you the attention you need from the ladies but it's not always a guarantee that they will want to shag you, but on the plus side, a UK accent usually goes well with the ladies. I'm not sure about the Americans but I know girls here, in South Africa, absolutely LOVE it. We went to an event about two months ago and met a guy with a Scottish accent, some of the girls are still speaking about him because they found his accent so SEXY. Maybe you are going to the wrong country...
