i know you only ever have one mother but my mom has never been there for me throughout my life (i'm 34 now). She left my dad when i was 11 for another man, taking my siblings and me with her. after 3 months, we were sent back to my dad and she moved in with this guy. to me, i saw it that she had to chose between he b/f or us and chose him! She has continued to put her partners before her children ever since. One example, my sister found it unbearable at home, sought refuge with my mom but she wouldnt upset her relationship and placed her with strangers!
i walked out on my husband and kids last year cos he was violent towards me but not the kids. my mom was the only one i confided in about the violence yet 2 weeks after i left, she visited him and i know it wasnt to see the kids cos she never had anything to do with them before! my dad has been there for me, i havent spoken to my mom for 20 months and feel i'd be betraying my dad by getting in touch with her again

Ok theres this boy and I thought I liked him but opened my eyes and realized I didn't! My friend Krysten says he likes me ALOT!!! He jokes with me in class(we sit together!!) Sometimes stares at me!,and he always wants to get touchy!(i.e.stealing my pen which he knows I will try and grab,and taking other things to see what I will do!)His best friend David (who I used to like!)Will always stare back there do you think hes jealous or is just looking at me? Okay, first of all, I'll be 17 in exactly two months. When I turned 16, my parents made me wait 2 months to get my driver's permit. I got winter experience and all that, and I asked my mom if I can schedule my road test, and she said no, and that she wanted me to get "more winter experience". First of all, I HAVE winter experience and I just want my darn license. I even completed a driver's education course last spring. I'm sick of waiting for something that I actually want a lot. I don't ask for much. In fact, they hardly make the time for me to go driving anymore.


Why do my parents have to be like this? It's just no fair at all, and I really mean that. I mean, people younger than me have had their licenses for MONTHS. I just want more freedom and I want to be happy about something for once.

I'm grateful for any answers to this question.

I did have my own flat which I lived in Alone for 14 months..I kept in clean and fresh...but in was lonely living there....What I have done is moved back home to mom...my mom lives in a 6 bedroom house alone (she has friends and relatives that visit) my dad died in 1999, I don't have any Bros/Sisters (only child)... I pay my mom rent she cooks/cleans....Is this Ok....will this make me getting a date...a lot harder...and what do women think of guys moving back home...I've got 4 bedrooms to fill up with junk..plus the whole attic....
