You can give him the benefit of the doubt if you want--but watch him like a hawk. I'd also tell him that it is good he is never gonna do it again--because if he does you are gonzo--and YOU--mean it--no second chances after this!!!

Some questions to ask yourself.... Is this the first time that you know of that he has cheated? Have you suspected at any previous time that he has cheated? Basically its your choice, if you feel you can get to a point when you can trust him again (and it is a painful, long process) then do. I guess by posting this question you feel you do.So....
Remember that if you're going to have to trust him then you have to drop suspicion of those late nights out, secret phone calls, not answering your calls, furtive texting etc. or you're wasting your time.
The short answer is,from a guy who has cheated - you don't just do it once, you'll stop cheating when you get it out of your system or meet the girl who you just can't cheat with because you've found love, sorry but he'll hurt you and destroy your ability to trust anyone if you believe him.

Unless you like being cheated on or drama the only way to live your life is to develop a zero tolerance policy for cheating. The cheater deserves to be dumped. Maybe this will make him think twice before he cheats on the next girl, but I doubt it. Cheaters love the drama and the act of cheating.

that would depend on the man. he would have to prove himself. That would include not having contact with the person he cheated with, show so much attention. It can be done. If he makes excuses for his cheating he will definitely do it again because he has not accepted responsibility for it. If he blames you for his cheating run and don't look back.

It depends on the situation really and how sincere he is. Some people NEVER forgive a cheater, and there are lots of things to consider, like , how long you were together? why it happened ?
Everyone deserves a second chance, however cheating is somewhat different, and only you know the whole situation.

You probably won't it will always be in the back of your mind.
Bu just think of the "ammo" you have when in a fight and all that guilt you get to lay on him.
I never had sex with another woman ,just dinners and some drinks and my wife has never forgot it, uses it every time she gets in a foul mood, and it was over twenty years ago.

it seems to me that he has done it many times before..and every time he cheats and that you find out he will say he is sorry because he knows that will accept his apology.
Wake up girl! Stop wasting your time on some loser!!! Next time you post a question on this idiot I won't be so nice...lose him NOW!

It's really up to you but if a guy cheated on me, I wouldn't give him a second chance. Think about. If he loved you, he wouldn't of wanted another woman.Right? If he loved you, he would want you, and only you.He wouldn't need another girl for love.Know what I mean?
