Her boyfriend found out but decided he could live with it, she is too scared to leave him (1st serious relationship) She says she loves me and I show her what she wants in a relationship but she can't take the final step...

Do not pressure her to leave him, this should tell you something, if she really wanted to leave him, she could. I do not think she herself, quite knows what she wants, may be she wants the both of you, I do not think you should have to wait, while someone has to make up her mind, what she really wants, she may end up doing the same thing to you.

You can't make anyone do what they don't want to do. She has made her choice to stay with this guy. If she really wants to leave him for you, she would have done it by now. I would give her some space to make up her own mind. It sounds like she is leading you
on. You also don't want to get this other guy mad at you. Put yourself in this guys shoes. Wouldn't you get upset if someone is trying to make moves on your girlfriend? It's time to step back and let her make a decision before you do anything else.

look i am an expert at this my advice for love was voted top in all of these kinds of situations but if she wants to leave him then she will. I've been through this actually i'm going thriugh it now but she is probably scared that her boy friend will some day come back to get her and get rid of you. so kind of be patient. If you to were ment to be it will happen on it's own

Paul, If your intended girlfriend is afraid of her present bf, you need to get her father involved in getting rid of him. Fathers do not take kindly to having their daughters intimidated. Mothers don't either, but we can't threaten as well as the Dads can. I suggest that you have your gf talk with her Dad about this. You stay out until it's over. Give the old bf a cooling off period before you show up with the girl so that he won't take his displeasure out on either one of you. Good luck. :)

Why would you want someone who cheats even if it is only emotional? Will you accept it when she develops feeling for someone else when she is with you?

If you she really loves you she will quit the other guy and get with you. I don't think she really ready to be with you.
