we spend a lot of time together. he knows how I feel and like i said he tells me he loves me every day. he spends more time with me than with her. we were together for five years and he has been with her for seven months. what should i do?

I don't like to flatter myslef. I feel uncomfotable when I'm complimented. I am glad people think I'm pretty or smart or funny, but when I say thank you, I feel like i'm agreeing with them therefore I'm flattering myslef therefore I'm stuck up and self centered. ??????????

Hi,
I am currious...is anyone you know happily married who was initially back and forth when it came to marriage? My fiance comes from a broken home and she goes through phazes of total commitment and seeming like she really can't wait to marry me and then doubt and worry. She begged me to propose for a long time and then when I did, she started acting weird and stand offish. Then she admitted that she was very affraid because even people that seem to be "perfect" together for a long time can have horrible things happen later on that end in divorce. Recently, her brother's seemingly happy marriage ended when his wife said she had been cheating for a while. She completely changed into a monster that was never even thought imaginable. I understand my fiance's worry, considering her family situation, but can someone overcome this in any way? Does anyone have a simmilar story? Thanks.

I just found out that my bestfriend is having serious problems with her boyfriend. But I am not suppose to know about it, thanks to my curiosity I found out. I don'tknow what to do? What is your opinion about a 20-year old woman that wants to cut her parents out of her life because she feels they have bad influence on her psyche and stay in the way of her development as an individual?...Bear in mind that these parents have never done anything obviously outrageous against her and would probably be considered normal parents by anyone.However,she doesn't feel any kind of attachment and responsibility towards them...I want you to be her judges.Comments,please.

This one is for all of you ladies who are engaged or married. Were there times when you would think about that things between you and your man were not going to work out? It just seems like he never understands me and that he can be supportive of me during my good days, but when I am sad or upset he just cannot handle it and he automatically assumes that it is his fault. My partner and iare getting married on 21st July 2007, we reveiwed our budget recently and found we only have £800 left for the honeymoon (weddings are sooo expensive!) I have very little faith in women and NONE in government. The only people I trust are my buddies who I drink beer with because as time has proven, they are true to me.
