I have very little faith in women and NONE in government. The only people I trust are my buddies who I drink beer with because as time has proven, they are true to me. My life is pretty sad as a result of having little regard for individuals though I would die to protect almost anyone on this planet. The only people I trust are my friends and I keep them at arms length.

Fortunately (or unfortunately) we can't control Life. Some people develop a very thick skin so they don't bleed, but being 'hard' doesn't let the 'light' in. We all get hurt, men & women. There ARE deserving women. And we need women. Right?
One of our 'jobs' is to learn how NOT to be sad and hardened. You sound like you have a good but hurt heart. Keeping your life at "arms length" will make your life bitter and unsatisfied and you are setting yourself up to live your life lith that.
Learn to trust more, little by little in your self and in others, including your buddies.
Please let the light in. Please?

i guess not. sounds as if you've been hurt quiet a lot. don't let hurt control your promising life. learn to forgive so that sadnees wouldn't cloud your heart. you don't have to trust everyone. it's good that you keep your buddies @ arms length. you can't have faith in women and others if you do not have it within yourself. tis very true. hope things work out for you.

You don't sound BAD, just a little insecure. I get that way once and a while. Maybe see a counselor about depression issues.
