Are you serious?
You have 10 months before you marry, add another £800 in that time and you've got yourselves a week in the US, 2 weeks in the med, or even a month travellingv in asia.
£800 will still buy you a week in the canary islands for 2!!!!
Weddings are only as expensive as you choose them to be.

Have a look at the website below, it's a castle about an hour's drive from Barcelona airport.
My wife and I went there for the weekend when I proposed to her. It's quiet, romantic, beautiful views, clean rooms, helpful staff and a really good restaurant.
So EasyJet to Barcelona, taxi to and from the hotel plus the room for however long you can afford to stay should fit within your budget.
Have wonderful wedding day.

First of all congratulations. I think you could do worse that somewhere like Budapest. Try the tourist office info website at http://www.hungarytourism.hu/ or here http://www.tourinform.hu/angol/index.htm They are both in English. I have spent a year in the city and enjoyed every minute of it. Sadly I have to leave later in the year. I wish you luck on your wedding day, and a very happy marriage.

We are going to Reykjavik in Iceland for our honeymoon. We also didn't want to spend much, so are going for three nights for £440, which leaves plenty of spending money. We're planning on visiting the Blue Lagoon spa, seeing the Northern Lights if possible (going in winter) and travelling round the beautiful countryside. A friend of mine tells me it's the nicest place he's ever been on holiday, and very romantic.
We booked it on Expedia - there is plenty of choice on there and you would easily find something you wanted to do in your price range.

Check out these websites. I believe they offer to trade homes so your lodging is pretty much free if you have a space and live in a place someone might want to visit. Home exchange listing services: intervac.com, homelink.org, homeExchange.com, Exchangehomes.com. Just a thought. And congrats!
