Hey... there's no "easy" way to leave someone . Talk to all of them, explain how you feel. Perhaps, you will still be able to see his kids after you leave.

There is just no way to make it an easy thing...you can make it as easy as possible by choosing your exit strategy based on how he is likely to react. First put all the kids somewhere else, they shouldn't be around for the drama. If he is likely to react hysterically and/or violently leave when he isn't around..get out while he's at work and just let him come home and find a note. If he's not prone to things like that tell him whats up, tell him it doesn't need to be drama and no drama is going to change it that its simply done and you'll be going tomorrow..or today, whatever it is .
His kids are a very tough situation and knowing how old they are would be very helpful, if they are teenagers and can call you up themselves if they want to see you thats great and thats what should happen, also do you get along with their mother? If they are very young its really pretty impractical for you stay in their lives because eventually he'll have another gf and the kids are already split between their parents and visitation for an ex-gf isn't going to happen. Although leaving them is going to be hard I can't think of a workable, long term solution, it is possible if its what you want and everyone is willing to participate but it usually doesn't work out that way. Good luck to all of you!

At first I was going to give you a lecture about all the wrong choices you have made, and congratulate you on the one right choice. Then I see your other question so I figure you had a lousy childhood so you don't know any better. People like you always manage to stumble through life so I am sure you will figure it all out. You are the real survivors. Good Luck to you.

it will be hard, just make it as direct as possible. don't leave any room for reconcile if you really don't want to be with him anymore. it's like a band-aide. make it fast and swift. tell him the truth and nothing less.

You should never have shack up in the first place and especially when you have girls. Just get out before you can cause anymore harm to your girls and his kids.
I feel bad for the children.

Just do it!!! It will be very hard for everyone...however why stay when there's nothing left.....It's time to get on with your life.
Don't stay because of the kids....you'll do more damage to them by staying and pretending to love their father, and being unhappy and miserable.

The two of you should sit down and discuss this, be honest with him and tell him how you feel.
