my baby's daddy and i have an agreement on his visitation dates and how much he gives me for child support on a monthly basis... he began giving me the checks on the 3rd of the month, which was fine...then all of a sudden he started giving them to me at the end of the month on which ever day he decided. i asked him if he could please start giving them to me again on the 3rd because i need a set date of when i receive them.
is that unreasonable of me? then he told me that he'll see me in court....why? if we have an agreement.....i also let him know that he will be screwed if we do go to court because he will be giving me A LOT more than he does now.....

am i unreasonable? or should i just wait til' he takes me to court?

I met this guy through work, & got his personal phone #. I started texting him & the next day he asked me out on a date. We ended up goin out to dinner & then drove around for a while, talking & getting to know each other. Everything was going great, & then he drops the bomb on me that he has a girlfriend, but of course tells me "it's not going well". So I play it safe for the next week, just being friends with him. Well after the first week, things started to go in the direction of dating. We were dating behind his girlfriend's back (who lives in a different state because of school) for about a month. Hey you chose him so why are you surprised? You should have picked the nice guy but no you wanted the man that went to jail to be your childs father. Than when he doesn't want anything to do with you and doesn't pay child support you whine and complain. Than you take him to court to get child support. Thats what you get. Being stupid doesn't get you a reward.

My cousin is the legal gardian of a little girl. However, she's having trouble taking care of her. The mother's rights are "suspended" but not revoked. They wont be revoked until 2 1/2 years from March of this year. I have a good home and would like to adopt her. However, we'd have to wait 2 years to know if I could keep her for good, or if the mother would get her back.
My cousin though, if she tells CPS she's unable to take care of the child, the mother only has 6 months to prove she's able to care for her.
Is there away around all of this? Is there a way for me to adopt her and get her into a good home without waiting for 2 years?
