A man and his niece are said to have committed suicide by jumping off a multistory car park at Block 730A, Tampines Street 71, on Thursday evening.

Eyewitnesses told police they saw the pair leaping off the fourth level, and they were said to have been kissing before they jumped.

The woman, Poh Lee Hiong, 32, was killed on the spot. The man, Gan Guan Hin, 46, was still alive when police arrived, but died in hospital soon after.

My kids are 4 and 8, and were special needs kids we adopted less than a year ago. My husband left 6 months after the adoption, and I still struggle with what to tell the kids as to why they do not live with both thier mom and dad now. They see thier dad occassionally, and he calls once in a while, but they both wish we still lived together.
My ex moved out while I was working, and left us without a car, no money, and has simply moved on. I don't want to say bad things about him, because they will find out on thier own some day what type of person he is, but in the meantime, they still ask. HELP!

My ex and I haven't been apart for less than a month, but we've continued to stay great friends. Days after we split, I talked to her about getting back together and she wanted nothing of it. I moved on. Not more than 2 days ago, she told me she wanted to be with me again, I told her that I couldn't. But I considered it and after a lot of thought, wanted to.

She slept with my best friend last night, he being a good friend told me about it and told me that she was cheating on me with another guy during the last few weeks we had been dating. Now, I have no problems with my best friend, he will always be my best friend... but what do I do about her? Should I act as if I never found this out? Should I be angry with her? Should we continue to be friends? How should I react?

I definitely have no plans to date her again.

there is this guy that i met recently and am very interested in. he treats me like a princess and he always suggests that we go places together. in the course of less than a week after meeting, he already suggest 4 places from movies to a very expensive resturant. however, i dont know if i should offer to pay for it each time because last time i did that he seemed a bit mad when i offered. i want to be polite and not give off a wrong impression like im taking advantage of him, which i am certainly not doing. what do you guys think i should do?

I am in love with this girl for last 4 years. I was good friend of mine. But there is something that is stopping me to propose her.. Actually I seen that she is very double minded, afraid of everything, not honest, and not very social.. Then also I love her a lot.. I have never proposed her but one of my friends took my mobile and proposed her on behalf of me and since then she is not talking to me.. I know that I cannot get a life partner which is perfect but she has a lot of bad qualities and thus I am not able to decide whether to marry her of not... But I cannot live without her also..

Okay, not actually a family member. My stepdad. I can't stand him. He's always complained about me to my family, saying I'm uneducated, I'm not motivated, blah, blah,blah. Then I find out later he was talking crap about me. I feel like I hate seeing him with my mother, and I can't stand when she's affectionate with him, because he's an asshole. Should I just live well, and show him he was wrong? Or should I just do it for me, and not to prove anything to him. He should talk, right? He has an AA degree, and he's a janitor. At least I have ambition in life. It's taken me a little longer to figure out what I want, but I'm on the right track.
