there is this guy that i met recently and am very interested in. he treats me like a princess and he always suggests that we go places together. in the course of less than a week after meeting, he already suggest 4 places from movies to a very expensive resturant. however, i dont know if i should offer to pay for it each time because last time i did that he seemed a bit mad when i offered. i want to be polite and not give off a wrong impression like im taking advantage of him, which i am certainly not doing. what do you guys think i should do?

I think both of you should take turns. It is a nice gesture when you are paid for but after the date suggest you pay next time.

Dont stress about it, you have met a great guy.

Whenever he call you out for a dinner or a movie you should say no first and then he will request you again.. then you can say that you will go with him only if he accepts that you are taking him for the outing not he is taking you... I hope he would me intellegent enough to understand what you mean....

Traditionally, the guy pays when it's a date, or a boyfriend-girlfriend outing.

When it's friends going somewhere, whether they're one gender or male and female, whoever did the inviting is responsible for picking up the tab.

i think when the relationships are not yet serious you should try to pay him,as i try to do,if you think he will go mad choose another way, like this time you offer him a place then say to him it is your turn,or if you think he pay too much share the fare, and tell him that makes your eager to go out with him more,
good luck

you do not pay under any circumstances, if he asks you, he pays, then you can offer to cook for him or take him to a movie or something. then you can pay.

take advantage of him monetarily because he'll take advantage of you physically. it's an even trade.
