Family & Relationships - 28 August 2006

Here's the deal. I spent this weekend with a really close friend of mine, and we ended up getting even closer (if you know what i mean). Things were fine until today when we both went to work and had to go our separate directions so to speak, which is when then question of what is going on between us came up. (But unfortunately we don't work close to each other so had to put the conversation on hold.)

I'm pretty sure she likes me and I definitely like her and would love to be more than just friends. We are both obviously a bit apprehensive cause we don't want to jeopardise our friendship. I'm speaking to her later on, this evening, and just want advice on what I can say to :
a) make her realise that I am genuinly a nice guy and not out for one thing,
b) make her think that maybe we should try giving things a go,
and failing all that
c) make sure things aren't awkward and weird from now on.

Any help anyone can offer would really help stop my head from spinning!! Thanks

My dad is already at retire age and does not wish to work. His reserves were used up on buying the house. He doesnt have much to do in his free time and my mum accuses him of gambling. (Actually I dont really believe my mum's word as she never really understood my dad) Whereas my mum doesn't believe that she has enough until the day she dies. So she is working like hell trying to save for her coffin. Both of them dont agree much with each other's philosophy in Life.
My dad is a very sensitive person that he doesnt approach me openly for money. But I do try to give him some when I can afford as I was out of work for sometime.
Soon I'll be getting my new job and I'm wondering which is the best way to help in my parent's financial state.
Please give me your opinion :
1) Give money allowance to my dad and trust him to be sensible.
2) Give money allowance to my mum and hope she shares with my dad.
3) Don't give any large sum of money but pay for the bills instead.

i am in love with a boy & our relationship was very good at the start,since a year now he having doubts on me and blaming me for no reason at all, infact i found out he is very narrow minded & i am just the opposite. i love him truely & ready to do anything for him. He also loves me truely but sometimes when he doubt i just get irritated. 1) from a girl
2) after 3days non-stop lovey sex,
3) had a huge misunderstanding day without talking for hours...so I want to tell him I do care for him. He thought I was using him for that day, and was pulling himself out from me.

My wife is habitual cheater and at any given point of time she has had one /two person. She thinks nothing wrong in it and brings about unbearable tension in our home and also attempts flimsy mudslinging. in between. I have helped this lady out so much, I've even mowed her lawn while she's been on holiday whilst I had a knee injury (I'm also female). I've fed her son's goldfish, emptied her trash twice a week (to make it look like she's in) and I never hear from her in between at all. I don't even get a "how are you?" I told her to use the Police to look after her house while she's away, but she never does and bugs me to look after it. I feel guilty if I don't.

im not sure if he love me.. bec before i asked him if he love me he said love for him has a deeper meaning. But i could feel and see that he care for me. but i think he care to all of his friend also. Having a boyfriend or girlfriend you barely get to see or having no boyfriend or girlfriend at all? I guess it would depend on how strong the relationship is huh? But ok, so um, if you´re havin a long distant relationship, you think its goin okay, cuz everytime you talk, you get along fine…but you only get to talk for so long…so does that mean your relationship is not as strong as you would like to think it is..or could it survive just fine even if it takes years to gap the distance? I mean when it comes to relationships, bcuz you know at the start you´re both really sweet to eachother…does that disappear with time, or does that depend on how in love you are?
