Yes it does help keep you in touch with others you normally never get to talk to. My cousins all are on there.

I have real life friends and some family on myspace. I agree people should be very careful meeting someone off the net that you don't know.
My cousin met someone off the net we kept telling her not to but she wouldn't listen and was going to do it so we got a big group of us went with her to a public place to meet him. I'd never suggest meeting anyone alone...

I love it. I've found so many of my old friends and have made new ones as well, which of course was free to do unlike classmates.com. I have even met the man of my life on there as wasn't even looking for a relationship at that time,lol. I just think they outta raise the min age to at least 18 on there seeing most people seem to always be looking for hook ups if ya know what I mean and so it attracts the pedophiles to it seeing the min age is 13 which for those younger than 18 it definitely ain't safe for them. For those over 21 like myself I think it's a fun play land to just let your creative energies out in a possitive way. :)

It's just OK. Some people use it for the wrong reasons which makes others hate it.
