Just wanted to hear how people feel about out of state joint custody. I know it's not ideal, though I'd like to hear how people make it WORK. If you see your kids once a month, holidays, summer, and school breaks is that enough to be a "parent"?

My friend's boyfriend is insecure.
Whenever she tells him that a certain celebrity is hot, he gets all jealous and it puts him in a bad mood.
It's happened many times.
But when he tells HER about hot celebrities, it doesn't bother her.
What should she tell him.. and what should she do?

LISTEN THIS IS HOW IT IS, I HAVE BEEN DATING THIS GUY FOR ONE YEAR AND FIVE MONTHS. WELL THIS PAST SUMMER WHEN I WENT TO VISIT MY MOM, I MEET THIS OTHER GUY. HE FAIL IN LOVE WITH ME SUPPOSEDLY! ok,heres the deal.my wife who i love and worship,for 20yrs.,has'nt really said much about this but being her man for a long time, i can ,i dunno i guess will say i can read her(a little),i work on the road ,welder,so im gone alot,lately ive noticed that were are kinda gapping in the romance dept.i guess, she has alot of younger gf's,not that were are old me 39 her 36,but she seems to get caught up sometimes with what the younger chics tell her about things,and i think sometimes she feels left out on the whole,i dunno how to say but ill say the whole fresh romance talk thing,anyway if u understand,im getting ready to leave for 3weeks,and i really wanted to maybe, leave her like a letter or notes she can find around the house while im gone, other than the ordinary marriage hoopla,but just cant really think of cool **** to say that a cool chic wants to hear(as u can see),if u could gemmee ideas ill love ya forever,thanks

A bunch of friends were at a party together and a girlfriend blamed one of her boyfriend's close friends for her boyfriend's wild, uncensored, and irresponsible actions and speech. During a group conversation she flat out told the guy friend , "My boyfriend acts so out of control b/c he hangs out with you." She made the statement with an angry tone. Her boyfriend's been inconsiderate and thoughtless all his life, even before they were together.

What does it say about her that she blamed another person for her bf's behavior in front of a group of people?

I really like this girl I've known for about 4 month's now she knows this and she likes me too, so I got her number and tried to get a date going or something that She her daughter and I could do together...but all my attempts have been unsuccessful. One of my friends talked to her and she said "Me and my daughter would just be a burden to him, and I don't want to put that on him" I can understand why she feels this way, but I don't. So my question is how can I get her to understand that I'm not holding her daughter against her? I know she has a daughter I understand that things would be different...I'm okay with that. Her duaghter just started kindergarten today, and she is really kinda stressed out so I don't think I'll be calling her for awhile....Is that a good idea?

My husband never hang up the phone on me no matter what but now he start to hang up on me like he just dont care about my feeling and everytime he hang up there is a voice of a female in the background. My husband done this before when we was dating because he was talking to another girl, he is over to afghanistan and he not doing any big but work. We were friends for 2 years. We were the best of friends until she started talking about sex, and being with GIRLS! I really didn't want to talk about that, with her, because I just wanted us to talk about school and such. But then (I'm a girl, just to let you know) she started to like kiss me not like pecks but like the way older teens to if you know what I mean, and when I told her I don't like it she got mad and hit me several times. Then I caught her watching me go to the bathroom, and I just got rid of her!!! But then she went to the school counsuler and she said we HAVE to stick together. Now we are in middle school and we HAVE TO DO EVERY THING TOGETHER! I went so far that I self injured because of her. How do I keep her out of my life????

My boyfriend ( this is the same one who i've been having trouble with lately, the way he talks to me, and the way he "uses" me as a sex object ) hit me a few minutes ago. He came home so upset about work and how everything he does is wrong, he started yelling at me, and i told him to calm down and he called me a ***** and slapped me. He never does that! its so out of character for him.
