I really really like this guy, but my parents think he's too old for me. I'm 16 and he's 18. I still want to date him and the only way to do that is for me to go behind my parents backs and date him anyway. Any suggestions, comments, help?

Is the age difference the only thing your parents don't like about him? How well do they know him? You should ask your parents if you can see him in their presence....sucks I know...but if you want to earn their trust and this guy is totally worth it this would be a good way to start. If they see he is a good guy they might just change their mind....

Oh! What a tough question. I would not suggest that you go behind your parents back. That will only give you guilt feelings. If he is not bad in any way try getting him to spend more time around your parents so they can see he is not bad. 16 and 18 is not a big age difference.

Please wait until you get 18 because your parents know whats best for you right now. The minute you get pregnant they might try to have him jailed or they are going to be pissed off at you. REAL TALK

It sucks but it is a legitimate parental concern. Obey your parents for now. If it is meant to be, it will be and he will wait for you. You will never understand this until you are a parent yourself.
