My best friend is getting married in 6 weeks. I had fully intended to attend because she's my best friend and I love her, and also she made me the maid of honor. However, lots of things have come up and I am finacially unable to go because she's 600 miles away. How can I explain to her I cannot attend becaue of this?

when a girl likes a guy, will she ever approach him and initiate a conversation? i am not shy, i have no problem talking to people, as long as they start =/

whenever i see a girl i'm interested in, i end up freezing and not knowing what to do. i find myself just turning away and telling myself stupid lies to make the pain easier. i've missed many chances in the past, opportunities during which it was obvious the girl was telling she would like for me to talk to her. i know what i should do, which is to just go talk to the damn person, but i still can't. i fear i'll end up watching all the girls i've ever felt attracted to get picked up by some other guy. Damn i'm pathetic. Maybe i don't really need an answer...just wanted to be pitied / scolded / laughed at.

Alright, a couple of days ago I logged onto myspace and I look down at my top 8, and notice my best friend has posted a picture of herself IN A BRA. My friend is upset about a relationship that went bust and she has said every day for the past five days that she wants to kill herself and she has no purpose to live. A girl that talks alot of trash behind other girls back because they are jealous, says that they know how to skateboard and play the electric guitar when they can't, and isn't really that pretty, very short, is average height, and talks trash on the internet about girls that she is mad at.

A girl that has girls like this^ talking about them on the internet. But doesn't really care and doesn't let it bother her. Knows how to skateboard good but doesn't lie about what she can do. And doesn't try to get into fights and only fights IF she NEEDS to...kind of pretty, normal height, and normal weight...?
