ive just broke up with my boyfriend..he was mentally and phyiscally abusive..but we have a young daughter of one so i knew i couldnt bring her up in an enviroment like that so i told him to leave..he did but i thought it would be alot easier, i broke it of but i still cant get over him no matter what he has put me through..can someone please help thanx

Why would a girl want to meet your best guy friend?

I've been friends with this girl for two years now. She had a boyfriend for the longest time. She knows I'm interested in her and have been since we first met. About 6 months ago she broke up with her boyfriend of nine years. Since then, I've been giving her a lot of space (not wanting to be rebound guy), but have always made her aware that I'm here IF she wants to talk etc.

A few months ago she invited me over to her mother's house to meet her mother and her best friend. I clicked very well with both the mother and the best friend.

She wants to see me again later this month, but she's asked if she could meet my best friend (a guy I've told her lots about).. My question: Ladies, why would you want to meet a guy's best friend? Is there an underlying motive/reason for this and if so what is it? I.E. Is this something that could highly influence my possibilities of a relationship with her?

My apologies, understand I'm very new to the dating game. Guys, any similar experiences?

I interviened in a mugging and got arrested myself?

I was walking home across a housing estate, it was just getting dark and I heard a woman shouting 'Help Help'. I ran to were she was on a small patch of grass and a youth aged around 20 had stopped on his bike and was violently trying to grab this ladys handbag off of her. I could see clearly that the woman was in in danger and she has blood on her face (He had punched her in th face before I had arrived). Without thinking I ran at him and pulldozed him to the ground (I didnt know at the time but he fractures his rist when he went over). I grabbed him and gave to the woman my mobile phone to call the police. I held him there for a few minutes until police arrived (Being called every name under the sun by him of course). When the police arrived he was arrested and put into a cop car. The police and lady thanked me repeatedly. The police got into the car...and then a few minutes later they got back out and told me that I was under arrest for assault as the man said he's pressing charges

What do i do?

My best friend started to like this guy, but he likes me, he asked me out but i turned him down. One night on my friends b-day we made out n my friend doesnt know about it. After that my friend and this guy started going out and now i found out that he only went out with her to get to me, he was her first bf and he knew that but still went out with her to get to me i thought it was really messed up, what do i do i dont wanna loose my best friend...

I just found out my best guy friend is gay!!!!!!!!!! And he had a gf!! but he dont talk, walk, act, or anything regarding someone gay!! What do I do if my boyfriend gave me a necklace that I don't like?

He wants me to wear it and says that I clearly don't care about him since I don't want to wear it. But truly, if he knew me well, he would know that I don't wear things like that. It's not my style, it's not my taste and I never wear necklaces. Also, I told him how sweet it was and that I loved that he thought of me, but that I would just hang it somewhere where I would see it everyday. Am I wrong? Should he be mad?

how do i help him?

A friend of mine is going through a tough time at the moment with his divorce.His ex wife is making life very difficult for him and he's doing the best he can.There are children involved and he's still supporting them emotionally and financially as he should be.I care about him alot in a romantic sense and we have talked about our feelings.He likes me alot but is unsure of what he should do?He's talking about moving away and i just want to help him and make life easier for him.What can i do?He already knows that im here for him whenever he needs me but how can i get him to see that life will get better in time??

How can I keep my cool so that I wont punch hubbys ex wife in the face ?

she's using his child against him I'm trying to stay out of it but she's making it hard when she drags me into it saying she doesnt want her child around that B***H,Now they divorced long before I met him and she doesn't even know me, but the three times his daughter came down to visit us she's cried to stay with us it breaks my heart everytime because my husband has to deal with baby mama drama.My husband didn't leave his child he left his ex wife but for some reason this child thinks my husband does not love her because she says her mom says if daddy loved you he would be here with you.(she chose to move far away trying to get my hubby's attention and it backfired on her) but he loves his child I want to be civil but his ex is being unreasonable and jealous and just plain bitter.
