There is this girl who has been a good friend...she works with me...one of my friends told me that if you love a girl, make her feel special...I started making sure while I am around she shouldn't have to worry...I was always there to support her...I would wait for her at lunch...but lately I felt she was not comfortable....I aksed her and she wrote me an e-mail that "give me some space...one can not be in mood to talk, joke or party all the time...there is some problem which i wan to solve at my end and dont want to discuss..."

I wrote back..."That I inderstant that sometimes I crossed my limits. And that I will not interfere in her work, crack jokes or sms her any more...be happy"

To which she replied "Thanks for understanding.."

Now friends I dont know what to do...now I have distanced my self from her, but i am very unhappy...what to do..?

ok i have a boifriend and he's kinda like a jealousy type like for example if he would call me and dosent find me and i return his fone call he'll probably say where were u and i would say out and he says oh "with ur other boifriends" and i hav another boi that i really like and hes not the jealous type and he treats me well and my problem is which one should i choose because i really like them both......so plz help me wiith this situation????!!!???

I am old fashioned in the sense that I would like to have a man do things for me. Pick me up from work , buy me little gifts, make me feel appreciated. It seems guys just want to take and women have become so independent that they think they have to do everything themselves. These women has ruined things for women like myself who wants a man who spoils her a treats her like a lady not an equal. I don't want to be an equal.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year exactly today. We are doing a long distance relationship for that whole year. I have visited him twice and it has equaled 2 and a half months. He has not yet come here. For the past two weeks we have planned him coming here. He bought the ticket a week ago and was talking how he was so excited to see me again. The night before he was supposed to leave he talked like he was nervous...which is understandable, but then the next day (the day he is supposed to leave) he calls me and tells me he can't come. His excuse was his family needs him more, but his family is fine right now. His mom is very controlling and was threatening everything he had for him not to go. What should I do? Should I stay with him or should I help him try to come here again?

OK school just started this week. I go to a public school in Texas.
We moved here a year ago. I am 15. They give us all these forms for our parents to sign and one is "Corporal Punishment Consent Form" I don't want my dad to sign it for obvious reasons. Last year he did because the option is ISS (In School Suspension) which is bad for my GPA. My teacher said if we don't return the form it means it's OK for them to paddle us. Last year I got paddled a few times and it's horrible. The first time the Principal paddled me and my Dad & him got in an argument and they agreed that only a woman would spank me from now on. So the assistant principal did the next two times and oh she was worse! The last time she spanked me extra. I cried and everyone found out. I was so embarrassed!!!

So...what should I do? and why on earth are Texas schools allowed to do this? it would be illegal for my Dad to do that! and we cant afford private school and I heard they do the same. Also, Mom is not here.

I have this good guy friend who I ended up developing strong feelings for. He found out through another friend, and he didn't really say anything, which made me kind of releived. I was worried that he wouldn't want to be friends anymore, but he was cool about it. But after a while, he started doing weird stuff, like he would tell me how pretty I am or he would flirt with me a lot. Then the next minute he acts like I don't exist, or starts going on about his latest crush and how much he loves her or something. Why is he doing this? Most of the time I love hanging out with him, but sometimes I feel like he's dragging me on an emotional roller coaster! Sometimes I even wonder if he might like me back, cuz that's how he's acting, but why wouldn't he just say so? Is he getting some kind of power trip out of dragging me around, or is he just oblivious to how I feel? Should I try asking him about it, or should I ignore it?

I think this all comes about because of my younger sister who gets away with anything. I know that most of my family likes her better than me. She can do whatever she wants. But the main reason i'm having trouble talking kindly or being nice to her is that she can do whatever she wants with my stuff. But somehow, I'm always the one who can't touch any of her possessions. If I do, I get in trouble. Everyone tells me that I am the older sister and should understand. I try to explain how depressed i get to my mom, but she never understands. Somehow, I end up in tears and it's all my fault. I feel as if no one understands me, because no one does. I wish I could be happy again. I'm been upset for way to long. This NEEDS to end. If you have any ideas or suggestions I would appreciate it. I'm a fourteen year old girl who needs help!

I'm gonna work 4 like 3 months abroad 2 save 4 a car but my father says it's selfish and immature for me to save 4 that when i 'have it all' at home and should pay ''at least'' (lol) the internet conection... darn, I'm in college, i have no full time or stable job and I wanna buy some stuff 4 me!and use my money 4 my outings with friends, is that really as evil and selfish as he puts it? :|
