I've always wanted to wait, because i have certain romantic reasons of my own. I believe in soulmates. So in an essence i would rather wait an eternity for this person and to marry then to have relations with someone I won't spend my life with.

That is a very romantic notion and I applaud your nonreligious motives. It's your life, no one can tell you what you want except for you. You can only have one first, and you should feel comfortable with who that is. Who gives a damn if your a 65 year old virgin? If you don't mind, then who cares if others do? And if you happen to change you mind somewhere along the way, so be it, it wouldn't make you a hypocrite or anything, just in charge of your own life.

Some people may not consider your choice socially "acceptable", considering everyone is so sex crazy, but I'd just tell everyone that criticizes your life choices to eat it.

waiting until eventually your wedding ceremony evening is a controversy of non secular subjects. you at the instant are not meant to have intercourse earlier marriage while you evaluate that's a SIN. i'm no longer judging everyone. i'm no longer married and have 3 babies so i'm needless to say in charge on that very sin. even nevertheless this is the place the waiting until eventually your wedding ceremony evening is presented in. in case you're engaged and decide directly to have intercourse this is your top. in case you're only relationship and decide directly to have intercourse it is your decision. it is not one i'm recommending because of the fact informal intercourse with a individual you may or won't come to a decision to spend your life with, in hassle-free terms for the sake of doing it, is not at all a solid concept. I say circulate with your coronary heart. if your coronary heart tells you which you're waiting and you opt to do it and are with somebody you somewhat care approximately and love then choose for it (of direction do no longer choose for IT until eventually you're a sprint older please) . you may in hassle-free terms lose your virginity as quickly as so make helpful it somewhat is the marvelous individual and the marvelous time, you don't get a do over.

Good luck. Look for a good friend first. When it's love you will know it. Sex can be fun if you trust the person your with. I don't buy the whole 'soulmate' thing. Too much pressure on yourself.

Good for you... stick to your beliefs and your opinions... I can bet you 1,000,000 (which I won't because I don't have...lol...) that 1/3 if not more, of the women who had sex before their wedding night, wish they would have waited until then. I know it is hard, I know temptation is soooo good, but, stick to your beliefs and save it to the last... It is worth it...

Actually it's called self respect, and that's the only reason anyone should wait.

While my main reason is a religious one, it's perfectly okay to have your own reasons for wanting to stay sexually pure... such as saving yourself and that special relationship for one single person... God tells us to remain sexually moral, firstly for him... and then for our future partner as well.... because our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit...(1 Corinthians 6:18-20...18Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. 19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.)

it is absolutely ok and it is a good one, you will feel fulfilled if you accomplished something what you prefer/want on your own reasons. It's worth it.
