I am old fashioned in the sense that I would like to have a man do things for me. Pick me up from work , buy me little gifts, make me feel appreciated. It seems guys just want to take and women have become so independent that they think they have to do everything themselves. These women has ruined things for women like myself who wants a man who spoils her a treats her like a lady not an equal. I don't want to be an equal.

i couldn't agree more with you. i do think that over the years women have grown to become more and more independent and have the mind set that they don't need a man to help them get through life.
i think that if you have a signigicant other in your life (be it man or woman), you should show them every day that you love them. it doesn't matter what it is, but the love be shown daily. and if it is something extra special (flowers, small gift, card, back rub etc.) it makes the person feel more in love and more appreciated.

Women are so busy fighting for equal rights and equal pay
and more power to the Honey and put the Man in his place and
we want everything a Man has with the added benefits that we must get a little special treatment because we are Ladies?!

Hang on for a moment if you will....
If that ship decides to hit an iceberg are you going to demand to go first with the kids?!...we are supposed to be equal rights yes?
We apparently not. Do you see the argument..you wanted more and you got it but in order to get it we had to give up part of ourselves..Men, my Dear have made the sacrifice for the Ladies and have not been acknowledged at all.
Is it not odd that more and more of the Husband /Wife team both hold jobs..kids don't get to interact with Mom or Dad and the traditional family structure has fallen away.
There are more and more single parent "Families-If you can call it that" these days and more divorces than ever before.
Chivalry has gone out the door and that includes manners, respect and BEING A MAN
These days it's nothing off a young man's mind to ask for an abortion or run away/divorce. It is easier for them to do it because society has gone that way and it is now acceptable and apparently women can deal with it because they are " More Independent"
You see where this is going?
One more problem...Women confuse men to such a point that what you are left with is a gibbering idiot that doesn't know right for wrong and has no backbone of his own to make decisions nor behave anything that remotely resembles a man.
I have no respect for a woman/lady that uses profanity to "express" herself, gets tattoo's all over, and has an overbearing nature.
At this point you are thinking that I am totally chauvinistic and belong in the dark ages with a club..well Madam if that is your idea then you belong with the Ill mannered uncivilized boneless chicken you call your "man".

Thank You for allowing me to bend your ear and good luck in your continual quest in finding this man you seem to be having difficulty in finding.

Should you have any further questions feel free to contact me so that i may advance your aquaintance to the Legendary "Gentleman" and his ways.

I am sure you are not the only woman on this planet who enjoys a man to do little things for you. In fact even in the year 2006, most women than not wants a man to do little things for them. The only problem is that Hollywood and pop culture have perpetuated the independent woman icon for so long that it seem the opposite. Either that or masculine perseption of the complete opposite where a woman wants a man to do everything for them where they become overly dependant, freeloaders or gold digging.

Women I have ever known love romance and having a man being thoughtful of them. They love it when they call them during the day to hear the melodious sound of their voices, receiving cards, or flowers at work on special occasions. However, one can overdo all of this where a woman will either think he is spineless or the gestures loses its significance.

Your conception of a one woman guy is distorted costly. whilst a guy loves a woman and is a one woman guy he does no longer act on the sweetness he sees. whether you're a guy or woman you will see somebody perfect. it extremely is impossible to no longer. you're a woman and not involved in women or maybe you may word whilst there is an perfect woman around. there is likewise unquestionably no longer something incorrect with admiring elegance. It has no bearing on your love or charm to your important different. there's a extensive difference between noticing and admiring and disrespectfully ogling. It does no longer rely how plenty somebody replaced into in love they could could have their eyes poked out to cause them to no longer word. I propose you reconsider your outrageous expectancies or........... you seek for a blind guy ** you say this form of factor "anymore" like a individual as you describe EVER existed.

You can be be spoiled and be treated as an equal as well. I like guys to do things for me to. But in turn I like doing things for that special guy as well. It's good to be equal and spoil each other.

women's lib-interesting thing that. I used to go to an all male gym but that was banned and had to be co-ed. Now my wife goes to a woman's only gym while I have to go to the co-ed gym. So obviously women wanted to be equal but only so long as equal meant special rights for them.

Two words, Dear: Women's Liberation. But I share your views. I like to be pampered the way I deserve. Not to the extent of spoiling me or looking like a damsel in distress, but as someone who needs appreciation, just like you said. There's a comforting thought, though: chivalry may be dead, but its not buried yet, so don't lose hope, My Friend! *hugs*

Womens Lib has poisoned the minds of women and men. I rather enjoyed being nice to women regardless of age.

i love my man doing things for me. everything that you mentioned above is exactly what makes a woman feel special loved treasured adored etc. i'm one of those women who some would call 'old fashioned' also and i wouldn't change it for the world.
