My wife and I have been together for 5 years.

We are planning on trying for our first baby in a year when my wife is 24.

My wife has wanted to start a family for the past year and next year we will be ready financially.

I am excited about having a baby with her and we are happy about our plans.

But my wife’s good friend has made some comments that have hurt my wife.

She said that my wife must be “insecure” with herself because she wants a family to complete her life.

If we never had children my wife would still be happy, but I know she would feel the happiest being a mother and a wife.

My wife isn’t a teen wanting someone to love her back and she has a life with hobbies.

What is wrong with wanting a family?

I think a family will complete our lives and bring new meaning to our relationship.

Do you think its people who don’t want children who say these things?

Have had their wives tell them that they love them, but are no longer "in love " with them. What did you do? Move on? Or did things get better?

I'm talking to a lot of dudes right now...just trying to see my options. I've been single for a very long time now I do want to settle down but not for a little while. There's is only maybe one or two that acually have boyfriend potential...the others are just guys I hang out with...some who I even have sex with knowing that sex is all it is. I'm just tryna have all my fun and act a fool, party and act wild before I settle down in a realtionship cuz I don't wana have the urge to do that kinda stuff and mess up a nice thing. So anybody with any advice or just let me know if you personaly think what I'm doing is wrong or okay...thankx.

I am a single woman and I have been sleeping with same man for over two years. In the beginning he was looking for a relationship but I just wanted sex. A year after we started sleeping together he got married. We are still sleeping together and he still tells me he loves me. I know its wrong but part of me hopes his marriage won't work. We live in a small town and he is with me almost every night so its inevitable that she will find out. Should I be the one to tell his wife or should i wait until it gets back to her?

I have been in a relationship with this man on and off for the past 2 years. Last Aug., we broke up for the first time when he hit me. I immediately left him but was back within days.
The second time I left was Christmas Eve. He had been ignoring me for 2 weeks. Supposedly I had done something but I don't know what it was. I was back by early Feb. I would stay with him from time to time but we weren't intimate but one time. 2 months later I was out once again. (all of these times, I left on my own.) I was back by the end of the week. This time no intimacy at all. It seems he's not even interested. He keeps treating me like I'm an idiot. I'm actually a pretty intelligent person. We argued today over his internet porn problem and I just can't do it anymore. I can't waste my life away with this loser while my soulmate may be out there waiting for me. The problem is I'm currently unemployed and I really don't want to go back to my parents. I'm too old for that. I'm 29 no savings & no job.

Guys and women who've had their suspicions confirmed -- my husband works in an office where his schedule is really uncertain; some days he has to work late, others he doesn't. We're both just out of school & have been at our jobs less than a year, so I can't gauge his current schedule w/any previous one.

He talks about his male & female coworkers a lot, good & bad comments. But whenever he talks about this one woman (who happens to be my mutual acquaintance), he has nothing but glowing compliments. "She's a genius at her job." "She's so funny." "She's such a great person." etc.

I haven't said anything to him; I don't bring her up in general. His behavior toward me is basically the same as before, but he doesn't call if he's going to miss dinner (he used to). When I call his cell to see about dinner, he usually doesn't answer & will call me back later saying he was in a mtg.

I don't think he's cheating (yet), but does it sound like he may be so attracted that I have to worry?

I got the one I wanted, a nice small fryer thats easy to clean, perfect size....then my stupid husband told his friend he wished he had a big fryer for a party we had. So his friend bought us a giant fryer that takes a gallon of oil to use, its terribly hard to clean, takes a lot of electricity to use, spatters oil everywhere....

Help me, what should I do? I want to have only 1 fryer!!!

My g/f of 8 months moved here less than a year ago to leave and divorce her husband who she has two childeren with. The divorce is still going on to this day so shes actually still technicly married to the guy. We've built a pretty serious relationship in the time we've been together and are making plans to move out together. But at the same time she talks and acts like she's not really happy here and misses the life she had (which is weird to me b/c she seriously lived in a shed in the middle of a trailor park with this guy) . We've gone through this several times and she says shes told his family she can't keep coming around and pretending to still be part of the family (so she says). From whats shes told me her relationship with her ex has been of and on for 8 years. I'm worried I'm just another one of her inbetween guys and eventually shes going to leave me b/c she just can't let go. I don't know what to do. Should I just try to be there for her or is this relationship just doomed?

okay, 1st the guy buys an engagement ring (how expensive is just right from a girl's POV) for the proposal. Is she supposed to keep this forever? Where do the wedding bands come in? How expensive should this be? Are these supposed to have some personal touches (messages, initials, etc)? These you keep till death do you part right? Just curious

He seemed so nice at first.... always listening to what I had to say. But his feet are just..... so big. and hairy. Kinda think of it... he's hairy all over... when ever he talks he screams this loud noise.... And in bed... He snores so loud it sounds like a car. When driving he likes to hit old people...... When we are shopping he eats everything.... that isn't food

so my real question is.... Is he Chewbacca or The Sasquatch

My girlfiend and I went to a pawn shop the other day to look at CD's. When we got there, instead of going over to the CD's, she went right to the case with the wedding bands. We've been going out for 7 months and we don't have any plans to get married. We have joked around about it a few times but all in fun. She even says that I'm a lot more involved than her in our relationship. She even told me her ring size after we left the store. Does this mean anything or am I reading this all wrong?

I know this is more of a personality thing but, if you had to make a choice would you say Men are kinkier then women or vice versa.
Me I'd say women thats who taught me how to be kinky. Enough about me what do you think?

Go steelers................. I couldn't resist the urge.

My ex is getting married in 12 days. However, I am not happy with my husband and there is something missing between us that was never missing with my ex. My ex was very immature 7 years ago when we were together, but he is very different now, and on top of that, he still has really strong feelings for me that he is dealing with himself. I found him on myspace and was just saying hi. We started emailing each other and then he called. I just found that he still had feelings for me about 2 months ago and have been talking to him everyday since. We live in different cities, but I went to visit him and we had a great time! I was trying to see if the feeIings were really still there and they were. I really don't want him to get married unless he is sure he really loves her and not me. I know its selfish of me because I'm already married, but I know that it sucks when you aren't really in love with the person you marry. I know its a choice he has to make but it's driving me nuts!

Not counting sex, that's too obvious! For Example:
1. Hold Hands
2. Kiss in Public
3. Candlelight Dinner at Home
4. The Photobooth Thing
5. Long Walk
6. See a Movie From the Back Row
7. Country Drive and a Picnic
8. Go to a Club or Bar
9. Attend a Social Gathering ie. Party, BBQ
10. Sharing a Glass of Wine in Front of the Fire
