My g/f of 8 months moved here less than a year ago to leave and divorce her husband who she has two childeren with. The divorce is still going on to this day so shes actually still technicly married to the guy. We've built a pretty serious relationship in the time we've been together and are making plans to move out together. But at the same time she talks and acts like she's not really happy here and misses the life she had (which is weird to me b/c she seriously lived in a shed in the middle of a trailor park with this guy) . We've gone through this several times and she says shes told his family she can't keep coming around and pretending to still be part of the family (so she says). From whats shes told me her relationship with her ex has been of and on for 8 years. I'm worried I'm just another one of her inbetween guys and eventually shes going to leave me b/c she just can't let go. I don't know what to do. Should I just try to be there for her or is this relationship just doomed?

I wouldn't say it is doomed....is there a chance she will go back? Yes, but is it a guarantee...no, otherwise she wouldn't be with you in the first place.
Chances are, right now she is just having trouble adjusting to a new lifestyle and also living alone. Maybe once the two of you actually do move in together, things will be better on her.
Some people just don't like change. They live a certain way for so long, it becomes the only thing they know.
If you want to help her, be there for her. Show her the security that she so desperately needs and be patient. She will come around with time and realize that her knew life is just as, if not more, stable for her than her last one.
Good luck...

Its just doomed. If she has two children with him, she will go back to him.
