Depends- If my child is over 18, there's not much I can do... she's an adult, and I forbid it, it's still legal for her to go.

If she's 17 or younger, I could call the police.. kidnapping, running away, etc...

I know I would never approve. I'm Christian, and I classify co-habitating with adultery/fornication.

In addition, a co-habitating couple typically only lasts 2 years (national average). It's like asking for a heart-break.

On the one hand, there's no commitment, no being tied down, lower risk (financial, credit rating, etc).

On the other (compared to marriage), it's a sinful situation, there's no/little security, lower benfits (financial), etc.
