okay, 1st the guy buys an engagement ring (how expensive is just right from a girl's POV) for the proposal. Is she supposed to keep this forever? Where do the wedding bands come in? How expensive should this be? Are these supposed to have some personal touches (messages, initials, etc)? These you keep till death do you part right? Just curious

She keeps the engagement ring unless she breaks it off before the wedding--guy breaks it off she can legally keep the ring--wedding bands don't have to have anything engraved on them that is a personal choice.

Well it depends on the person.. everyones diffrent..........Usually the engagement ring should be 2 months salary......YES supposed to keep it forever. DUH! The wedding band comes in when you get married. If your askin when you should buy one....then that is when ever you want as long as its before the wedding. Special touches are either done before the wedding or on your one year anniversary. DUH again on the fact you keep these forever

1 out of 3 marriages will end in divorce. Go with whatever you can afford. It's not like your marriage will last forever.
