i got these pair of nike shox classics for volleyball for like 109 dollars, and that is alot of money for me. i fell in love with my shoes when i got them and i thought they were like theee coolest. we just had a volleyball camp at our school and my one of my best firnds saw them and led them. so yeah, she just went shopping today and got the same exact shoes!!!! i am so upset, how do i tell her how i feel, and how do i get over it?

I have these teenage neighbors who are totally annoying. What is wrong with the teens today? They are rude, loud and ignorant. They are running in and out of the house screaming all hours of the night. Then their little boyfriends are just as bad. They keep trying to break in to my husbands car, throw soda on it, and alot of other things. Today I was walking a family friend to the end of the street and I see one of the teens with her boyfriend...he starts calling me a B**ch! and she just starts laughing. At first I didn't know that they were talking about me, but my husband heard the whole thing while he was sitting near the window. I am not that old (27), I don't look odd or anything. Why do they seem to hate us so much? Should I approch their parents about this behavior?

We want to do some of the traditional things, but also want our wedding to be "ours" and have some things that aren't as common (something else instead of a unity candle, etc.).

I am not the most beautiful person in the world,but i am pretty good looking.I am intelligent , in school , make my own money, and am willing to help anyone in need,(unless I felt it necessary not to). My aunt invited me to go to canada with her and her husband and their two kids for 10 days in august. I was so excited when they asked me because I love Canada and I was really hoping they would ask me, not to mention I love my cousins. But then my mom pointed out that I would be missing drivers ed. So I will be missing three classes and a lot of driving time. I also will have to pay 60 dollars for the missed classes. Should I not go to Canada or sacrifice the 60 dollars/lost driving hours and get behind?
Any advice would be appreciated, I can't decide because I really really want to go to with them to canada-ive been waiting forever--but drivers ed is also really important and I can't do the next session.

My ex and I decided to stay friends, I dint really want to. He calls me and I answer. But I havent been calling him and he complains. The reason is Im in the process of getting over him 100% Im up to 80% I think. When we talk, convo lasts 5-10 minutes, sometimes 20!! He says he call me back, and he usually doesnt. It does not bother me b/c Ive grown to expect this. 2 weeks had passed since the last time we spoke. The last time, I called him he said hed call me back and that was the 2 weeks prior Im talking about now. I just want to kno why he complains when I dont call him yet when i do he has to go and he never calls back till days and weeks later. He and I are done. Im wondering if he just wants me to keep calling as an ego boost. Does he still care for me? B4 our break up he had told me he doesnt keep contact w/ x's. I told him I thought I loved him, he said the same,then..."have to go, I'll call you back." Never did. Here I am 3 days later. WHAT GIVES?

I was watching Maury and it was about women were with domineering and often abusive men. Most of those women were reduced to tears telling their story. My grandma said that I cannot continue on with my boyfriend, just simply because that he's not a German!!! whats the big deal? she said that this family has been pure-"breed" German through generations and generations, and that I cannot ruin it for the family! does it really matter? Whats so good about Germany? I've never even been there in my whole 16 years of life. and I am not leaving my boyfriend after all that we've been through. My grandma just has TOO much national pride.
