My fiancee and I have been together for a while now and we've never been apart. He just went away for 7 days to Denver, Colorado and now since he's been back...I trust him more and I am not so clingy as I used to be....like needing to be with him....can you explain that??

when you spend so much time with someone you end up becoming more and more like them and in the meantime lose a part of yourself.
while he was gone, you had no other choice than to do the things you did on your own before he came along. you also had the opportunity to find a little bit of your old self back again.
its not a bad thing that you are not so needy, it could be a good thing that you found that although you want him, you dont necessarily need him to define you.

You might just be finding that you can trust him more. Seeing that he was away from you for 7 days and didnt do anything wrong to you, might have boosted your trust and esteem so much more that you realized you could lay off a bit and give him his space and know he'll still be there, always wanting you and only you. People so the further away you are, the closer you'll grow at heart. In this situation, it just might be true.

Yeah.. you discovered that your life doesn't collapse when he's not around. Hopefully he discovered this also and your love will now grow even stronger.

One thing, the change should have been that you trust each other more, but you also now feel a even closer bond somehow. If the opposite has happened, that you've discovered that being away from each other is good, then you might start drifting apart...

it is because your fiancee came back to you and you know he can be trusted . GUYS CAN DO A Lot OF WRONG DOING IN 7 DAYS. and your man did not. good for you and him. He can be trusted and now you are more certain of it.

most people that mistrust or doubt the other mate have either had a lover cheat on them before or they have ,so i think if that might have happened to you he has been faithful and a good person to be able to go through a testing time for his nerves and be able to still be the man you hoped he would be ,but time heals a lot and teaches us trust and how to be able to be secure about issues like this especially if we had a close painful experience w/it before .

Probably because you're realizing that if you've got yourself a man who's never been apart from you and puts up with your scary-sounding clinginess, then you've got a good thing going (for you!), and would be stupid to screw it up now!

This just means that you trust him more and you feel more attracted to him. This just means you miss him! It's actually really good. Sometimes people just feel like they don't need their fiancees anymore, but your emotions apparently like you...

Trust works in mysterious ways. Just the fact that you let your guard down that one time allowed you to feel comfortable with trusting him.

Yes, you just realized how scare you are of not having him around, so subconsciously you chilled out in the not trusting department so he won't have that reason to leave.

I agree with Berry Picker, maybe you are just happy he is back, wait a few weeks and see if them old not trusting feelings come back.
