i got these pair of nike shox classics for volleyball for like 109 dollars, and that is alot of money for me. i fell in love with my shoes when i got them and i thought they were like theee coolest. we just had a volleyball camp at our school and my one of my best firnds saw them and led them. so yeah, she just went shopping today and got the same exact shoes!!!! i am so upset, how do i tell her how i feel, and how do i get over it?

hi there, I understand how you feel. my best friend and I were always buying the same things and we would both get mad at each other for it when we were your age..
Now that i'm older, its flattering to me when someone see's me wear somthing and just has to have the same thing. Some people don't know much about shoes, or fashion, or grocery shopping.. Sometimes people see somthing that someone else has and they like it so much they just have to get one of their own.. Its nothing you should take personally. if this friend means a lot to you, i wouldn't confront her over somthing so trivial.. She probably thinks they look great on you and she probably wants to feel great in them too!

I cant believe this is an issue, I guess its a girl thing ( hold on a min Im going to ask my wife ) ok this is what she said " why is she making a big deal about it, is she the only one that can have these shoes or what? tell her that she needs to let it go, if her friend buys what she buys, she should apprecite it beacause her friend wants to be just like her, she needs to learn to pick her battles a little better" straight from the horses mouth !! Why do you mind? She just likes your shoes so she bought some. I wouldn't care. You might be a trendsetter, who knows? Then people will at least know you are stylish. Either you have lived under a rock your whole life if you think this is bad, or you just hate starting things.

Socks are public goods therefore it's non excludable. Everyone can buy it. Don't worry, this feeling won't stay for long. You can just go to your friend and tell her how you feel but the fact remains that you both have the same socks.

Honey, look at it this way, it is a form of flattery. She is copying your style and taste. You bought them first and she just had to have them too. You should be happy not fustrated. You had them first and her second. Smile and tell her she has good taste and then laugh and smile about it!

OMG.... i went throo the SAME thing w/ my friend. w/e i owned she did... so i just straight up told her and said "ok i want to b your friend not your closet" no jk i didnt say that but just tell her it may or may not work but atleast you will have it off your chest. Oh also try coppying her at something cause then she will get mad at u and then u can say well thatz how i feel... so bak off B****...lol! but yeah just tell her.

You may be mad but whose to say she didn't want those shoes before you saw them & bought them first?
Get over it honey & stop being so petty.. They didn't make one pair so she won't be the last.
