what do guys like girls to be like?

what are ways to get guys to like a girl i'd really like to know cause i'm going into highschool and just moved so i have to meet new peoople and guess get guys to like me

as far as apperance what do you look for in a girl, guys.

Okay, guys like hot girls, so if you're hot you have nothing to worry about. if, you're not so hot, try to be hot, spend money on your hair clothes etc. If that doesn't help pretend that you're hot, get some friends to start a rumour that guys think you're hot.
If this doesn't work, develop a good personality, smile, learn good conversation, particularly concerning sports, cars, computers, other girls. If this doesn't work make yourself easy, but to just one guy, word'll get around and then you can be yourself (whatever that is). If all these things fail.....Pay them.
Being yourself (whatever that means) doesn't make people like you,especially if "yourself" is repulsive, so forget that. Being a good person will attract the right people, not necessarily the ones you want though if that's all you have, but it's something, so try to be a good person, if you're not already. Ultimately though, remember that humility is what ppl love most and remember that you can be happy even if they don't like you, concentrate on finding that secret....I'd say.

Its probably not the answer you'd like to hear but I've already graduated high school and am in my 3rd year in college. Gettin ready to marry my wonderful marine :D. I know everybody in high school tries too hard but it really is important to at lease keep the parts of you that are really important. I'm not saying you can't dress a certain way I don't think thats very important to most people. But don't pretend to be stupid if you aren't if you don't want to do certain things don't do it. If they are really worth having around they'll be there anyway. I don't smoke and never have I drink occasionally my fiance smokes ALOT and drinks ALOT but these aren't the most important things we can talk about anything, we enjoy the same hobbies, music, etc. Like it or not people do judge by appearance when you go to get your haircut talk to your hairdresser and you might be able to find something cute. I wouldn't dye my hair though cuz then you have to keep it up which is expensive and time consuming. Find a particular style and keep to it. I would recommend buying nice jeans, a pair of khaki pants, black pants and maybe some skirts then invest the rest in shirts and accessories. That way you can always look cute without investing a ton of money. And if you are going to wear make up have you mom show you how to put it on and DON'T wear too much or really funny colors, pick something that compliments your skin tone shades of brown or pink are great and match any outfit you will wear beware of other colors or you may turn up lookin like a clown. Basically if you look good it will open up alot of opportunities for you. And Alex says be friendly and don't act stuck up. Also hanging out with football players helps.

i would say just be yourself dont put on a fake act and get them to like u for a person your not, because first of all if u ever act like the real u after youve been acting like someone else they might stop liking u because thats not what theyre expecting and second of all even if u do keep up the act and they never find out your always going to know deep down that whatever guy likes u when your not being yourself doesnt really like u, they just like who u act to be...o0o yeaa but one biiiggg no no never be easy like if a guy talks to u and shows that he might be interested, dont just jump at him because then they know your desperate and they just convince u to sleep with them and then dump u and they never respect u, so if u start talking to a guy, dont chase him away but make him chase u, that way when he actually gets u he'll respect u because your worth something to him

Guys like girls who are themselves, so be who you are. Of course take care of yourself, your health, your hair, your nails, etc. but if you are not the type to wear a lot of makeup, keep yours simple. If you are uncomfortable wearing short skirts, don't do it. Be honest with who you are and make sure you take your studies seriously and still being sociable. Join a club that interests you and you might meet a guy who has the same interests.

Oh no, don't try to get guys or anyone else to like you just be yourself. You don't want to try to be something your not just to get people to like you. If they don't like you for who you already are then you really don't need them in your life. Worry about something that matters right now, getting a good education so you will have a good future and earn enough to support yourself without having to depend on anyone else. dont listen to the responses that just say "easy". yes some guys will want that, but those arent the type you want to be around.

focus on meeting friends and getting involved with stuff and activities. Be friends with guys first and try to be yourself.
