I've heard of boundaries with in-laws and friends, but I've only recently heard of boundries with your spouse. How do you establish boundaries with your spouse?

I was dating a guy for 2 years. He knew from the start that I had kids, and was OK with it. About a year and a half into the relationship, one of my daughters said something to him that, "Hurt his feelings", and he decided he did not want to be around my kids anymore. I thought maybe he was just upset and needed a little time to cool off, but as time went on, he was adamnet that if I was coming over or we were supposed to be going somewhere, I couldn't bring the kids. MY KIDS COME FIRST, so I tried to explain to him that kids are going to say things, but as an adult you have to work it out, and that he knew I had kids from the beginning. I also explained to him that even though I REALLY liked him that I was not willing to slight my kids for him or any other man. He remained solid that he did not want to be involved with my girls, so I did the only thing I could do, I broke up with him. That was about 3 years ago, and because we went through a lot when we were together we still

I have been married for 13 years now. I recently graduated from school for building construction. I was in school with teenagers, I am now 35 yrs old. I had the best time of my life! They woke me up and taught me how much life I was missing out on. I was living a dull life. I have 2 young kids at home. With my husbands work schedule he is never home at night. We pass by each other like 2 ships at sea. Well now I am full of zest, but my husband is not. He likes our dull life, no dates, nothing. I am not happy anymore with my marriage. I want to find someone fun to b with! Is this wrong, or should I stay in a constantly unhappy marriage?

Don is a former co-worker that I fell in love with instantly. He declares his love for me with passion, but he's married. Not to mention I was involved with his brother. Did I mention that he and his brother are identical twins? Don's wife had a sexual relationship with my ex-husband and she still confers with him regularly. Sounds like a soap opera, I know, but I really love him. I have never felt this strongly about any man in my life. I've cut all ties I have with any other man, waiting for Don. I know it's stupid and it's unfair to me to put my life on hold waiting for something that may never happen, but I can't help it. What should I do?
