b/c theres this guy that i like, but my ex is always talking to me about his gf that and his gf this...so i got tired of being the single one and made up a lie that i went out on a date tonight just so that he would think that im not a total loser....do you think it was wrong for me to do something like that (i was engaged to the guy im trying to make jealous so im finding it hard to get over him)

You shouldn't be worried about what this guy thinks of you, remember there is a reason you broke up. Your personal life is no longer any of his business and for you to imagine that it is, only makes the process of getting over him worse. Remember who you are and keep in mind that your world doesn't revolve around him. You can't base your happiness on the opinions of people around you, because in the long run your the only one who'll get hurt.

yes there is nothing wrong with that, you want him to feel bad just like how you are feeling bad even if you have to something as childish as that.
