If this is the brides second marriage and the groom's first is it apprioate to give them a couples shower??? Are would it be better to have a pre-wedding party without gifts given by wedding party and invite only Close friends and Close relatives?

if a custodial parent has papers drawn up to change the visitation of the other noncustodial parent, whom he won't let the child see anyway, does the noncustodial parent have to agree to what he wants? if not, then what happens if the noncustodial parent does not sign?

This guy told me he has "fallen for me". Is that the same as falling in love? We've been hanging out for about 6 months. I am obviously on the rebound, but he doesn't seem to mind, and treats me real nice. Thing is, we are absolute opposites. We are NOT each other's type, but there is still an undeniable attraction. No, we haven't slept together. Yes, we have talked about it. What we landed on was this: let's just be good friends like Jerry and Elaine because a relationship would NEVER EVER work between us. We are opposites with religion, politics, the whole bit. Well, all at the same time, he tells me he's after this girl he knows through someone at work, AND that he's "fallen for me", that he can't help it, and that he knows there's a line he can never cross with me even though he wants to. What the hell is that? Honest answers please no immature teenagers, thanks.

I'm engaged to be married. But, My fiancee has totally ignored me all week. He works swing shift and is on midnights. He came by Wednesday to show me his new 3quarter ton truck he bought. Bear in mind he traded a 2005 chevy crew cab in for this 2006. His mom passed in February suddenly of a massive heart attack. Its been placed upon me to take care of the family. Its 3men and me. My fiancee's dad isn't doing well with this loss of his wife at all. I feel pushed away. Not to mention my fiancee is passed out right now with a guy buddy at the river house because he's drunk. We broke up right before I finished nursing school b.c i felt he wasn't listening to me and got back together 3mo later. Only for his mom to pass. I don't know what to do?? I take marriage very strongly. I need to know are my doubts crazy or am I thinking normal like any other bride to be would??

There is this girl that I went to school with back in 6-8th grade whom I have had a major crush on. Because my parents would not let me date until I was 16, I never told her How I feel about her. I last really spoke to her when I rounded up all our old middle school friends and went to go see Wallace and Gromit in the theatre. Before that I wen't to a party at her house at the end of summer last year. Most of the people there were her little brothers' friends the only teens there were me, her, and another friend from middle school. I ended up spending the night and we stayed up all night playing video game and watching movies. I got to know her brothers very well and get along with them great, as well as her parents.Now that I am 16 and Dead Man's Chest is in theatres I wanted to ask her out to go see it. But, because I haven't talked to her for months how can I ask her without it seeming weird or awkward? I really love her and I don't want to blow it. She's 1 of a kind.

Seen/experienced almost everything that life has to offer.
Being just satisfying human needs, is it mature thinking and behavior to have casual sex between matured individuals. Knowing the limits it leads to. Knowing what is being expected and not to. Knowing what to expect and not to but just enjoying life’s most intimate and private moments between the two mature adults. Satisfying emotional needs rather than physical.
During the “affair” knowing and respecting each another and to avoid the emotional headaches associated with and that such normally brings and results. But just enjoying intimate and private moments and sharing emotional needs. Is it mature thinking and behavior.

He's been through way too much with me not to love me, or he would've left by now. I'm a single parent, and my daughter is 2 1/2. We were only together a few months before I was diagnosed with cancer. No sex for almost 7 mos. because of the treatments I underwent. It's hard to make anyone understand the emotional roller-coaster I was on, and still am. We broke up for about 6 months (I broke up with him). His kids had came in town from out of state and it's as if I was pushed aside. I don't mind us all spending time together because I'm a parent too and I love his kids. Now we are back together and the kids are in town again for the summer and once again I feel pushed aside and not in on plans. I know it's important to spend one-on-one time with them. But am I over-reacting to want a piece of it too? I love him alot and he swears he's not going anywhere. I've explained to him how I feel. We live in a very family friendly area both of us.There's no reason we can't hang out.

I may need to hire a caterer for my reception. My wedding will be somewhat small, less than 40-50 guests. But I want a reception dinner that's nice, probably a sit-down dinner. When I mention caterers, most people refer me to BBQ or Mexican places, but I want something classier than that (but still on a small budget!!!!!!!!). I don't even know what kind of price tag I'm looking at here...Any help?!?

I've been talking with this girl for several months. We're basically just lunch buddies. I often times feel she's just using me for my helpful, kind and generous ways. Each time I try to get some personal time with her, she makes excuses for not being able to spend time with me.
Here's an example of how I feel she's using me: She just went on a long trip alone and asked I call and check on her about every hour to help keep her awake. So, I did and I also checked her routing when she felt she had the wrong directions. After she reached her destination, I called to see if she made it alright and she told me she had a fight with the hotel front desk person - trying to prove her identity. She said she was frustrated, so I asked how does she get over frustrations and she said by not having conversations and wanted to end ours. I wished her a fun stay.
Seems like every time she gets what she needs from me she is quick to cut me off and out. Am I wrong to feel something isn't right?

I want to know this because i see that most of the guys care about the girls phisycal appeareance. i am not skinny and all the guys reject me because of that i wish they got to know me better before they judge me or just look at me as ugly.
